Day 18 -

North America
To the North, in Canada, there was a successful liberation of Alberta. This is now Canada’s second region returned, and they are attempting to win in Saskatchewan as well. The country is still under occupation by three other nations (Indonesia, Poland and UK). The Canadians still have a long way to go, but with no active wars against them currently, they stand a good chance of liberating their entire country. They have also shown a penchant for helping Ireland, and if they can secure their nation, they may send aide to the Irish, to help beat back the British.

The situation in Canada.

The liberation of South Dakota was successful, and it is probable that North Dakota will see freedom fighters within a few short hours.
There is a resistance in both Florida, and Alaska. In Florida, Hungary is currently holding a 1-0 lead, but America is entering their prime-time, and will likely be able to secure some wins. In Alaska, America will likely try and lose, to try and protect Russia and China. If Indonesia falls in Alaska, it will allow the much more powerful Poland to attack the region, and gain a border with Asia.
Although it is nice that the United States is finally winning battles, most of them are somewhat hollow, as they are not providing any sort of economic bonus. Because America’s capital is in Washington state, none of these freshly liberated regions connect, and thus, provide no bonus to the nation. The fastest way to get these bonuses back, would be to resistance Montana and Idaho. This would open up access to the liberated states of the midwest, and give the United States, Grain and Oil (if Illinois could be quickly liberated).
As it stands now, the United States could sorely use some more resources to help out their flagging economy.
Lastly, Hawaii fell to Hungary today. This means that Hungary now shares a border with Japan, and a declaration of war against the island nation is expected to happen very soon.

South America
Brazil is attempting to liberate Parana and Santa Catarina for yes, the third time. As with the others, this one is also going down to the wire, and currently, Brazil is down 6-7, and needs to win the next two mini battles. For at least the next hour, this battle will be the priority for Terra.
Spain is also using Parana and Santa Catarina as a launching point for an invasion into Rio Grande do Sul. This battle is freshly opened, and Spain is currently holding a 2-0 lead.

Asia
Russia liberated Western Siberia yesterday, meaning that Serbia now only shares one region border with China. This is important, because of the recent declaration of war from China against Serbia. China wants to go on the offensive, and try and cutoff one of the fronts before Hungary and Indonesia can make landfall on their shores. Because of this, it is probable that a Chinese attack on Eastern Siberia (Serbia) will happen very shortly.
Far Eastern Russia is also under attack, and the Russians are getting rolled 6-0 currently. This will likely end in a loss for the Motherland, but hopefully China will be able to use this battle as a damage drain, and jump out to an early lead in Eastern Siberia.
Lastly, China let Kyushu fall to the Japanese resistance. This creates a one region buffer between them and Hawaii (Hungary). They are likely trying to seal off an invasion from the north (Serbia) before dealing with the Hungarians.

The situation in Russia.

Overall Analysis
We have known for sometime that war was coming to China. Now that Hungary shares a border with Japan, the days of Chinese Sovereignty are numbered. It is very unlikely that China can withstand a multiple front invasion. Just as the United States, Canada and Brazil fell to the same strategy. Hopefully, Terra will be able to provide better support, and coordination for the Alliance’s last free country.
