Join the new world

First thing I thought of when I realized it was May 4th, its a good story.

So to ends the story of my first presidential month and my first time ever to hold executive office. Looking back on it, normalcy was good for the time period that it was in, the economy was on the ups though the currency continued to slide downward...but looking at all the other economies around the world it seems as though the same effect is occurring, and we are actually doing fairly well when compared to currencies which have crashed below .005g. In retrospect, it was kinda good that nothing extreme happened or any major financial decision occurred, because the negotiations with eIndo and the sudden rage-attack by a rouge UK citizen really needed to be the focus of the nation.

So in short, being lazy was actually kinda fun. But as this comes to a close, I leave everyone with three final items before things get a bit hair braine😛

-The establishment of a Ministry of the Interior: Or HR029, shall lead to the formation of a new ministry once the Congress approves the legislation. Basically it is going to be a ministry of fun and entertainment for everybody in the ePhilippines, and I am looking for some new applicants who will bring a positive and active message.
-I have no set time when the next RW will be: currently, this is between the auction committee, and several people of the military. Also, this is to prevent any sort of trolling like what occurred in our past two RW's
-Executive Order establishment: I FINALLY figured out how to use the palace tab of the government part on the forum! \o/ Basically these executive orders are powers that the president already has (making appointments to ministries, creating temporary commissions, etc.) and nothing dictatorial or sweeping in change. Now, on the subject of this term...



What I was thinking when I saw what happened to the presidential nominations
So basically, after I announced I would not be president for another month, Plato made me president...which is fine. The only problem is that the month of May is filled with trips, AP Tests, and long essay papers galore. Thus, running the executive branch would kinda lead to unnecessary chaos and hair splitting, so I decided to do something a bit out of the box.

This month's term I am contemplating, most likely going to, establish Hekter as Prime Minister of the Month. Now, Hekter has called himself the "Shadow President," but I have serious objections to the term, most notably:
1) Shadow President implies the actual government has been toppled and could lead to a two clicker impeachment proposal, and the last thing we need this month is a vacant presidential palace.
2) I'm still in charge Hekter, only one president at a time :
But basically, Prime Minister is kinda cool, so just suck it up and take the job Hekter before I pass it onto someone who would rather have it.

"But Myung," you say "what will the PM for the month do?"

Excellent question, here is what our Prime Minister Hekter will do, he will basically be running the executive branch and things in my absence and shall be allowed to pursue his own policy agendas, but I reserve the right to remove him, and my word trumps his as I will be on from time to time (I still will be able to push buttons for war and stuff). This is also why I call him a PM rather than a Shadow President. If there is any discrepancy, you can seek me out via PM or IRC when it is convenient for me to be on.

If the Congress would rather have a different PM this month, then I am glad to appoint them, but Hekter has been around for a while, and most people here trust him.

I shall be filling out the appropriate executive order, and I hope to see you all soon.
