Days 7&8:

North America
After the successful expulsion of the Spanish from America, and the failed attack on Castille y Leon, Spain regained the initiative against America. With it, they removed the American foothold on the Iberian Peninsular, and once again crossed the Atlantic, to invade the East Coast. This time invading Virginia. The United States offered little resistance, and Spain won in a shutout. The American forces were directed elsewhere, lending large support to their allies, and fighting a new Mexican invasion. After their victory in Virginia, Spain attacked Kentucky. It seems as if they are once again pushing towards Illinois.
As previously mentioned, Mexico attack the United States in New Mexico, after the failed American attack on Baja. The Mexicans secured baja after some heavy tanking by their European Allies. However their attempt to retake New Mexico failed, as the American forces were successful in their defense. The Americans countered with an attack on Baja, but without much heart, and Mexico should secure the battle (and initiative) in less than an hour.

South America
After the successful defense of a Spanish Resistance War in the Canary Islands, Poland was able to invade Brazil. They have seen immediate success, as the Brazilians have not been able to stand up to the Polish Military might. North of Brazil and Center West of Brazil have both fallen. Poland has continued their invasion with an attack on Parana and Santa Catarina. If this attack is successful, this is separate the Brazilian Capital (Southeast of Brazil) from it’s one remaining Iron region. This would be a huge blow to the Brazilian economy.
As was mentioned before, Brazil and Spain were evenly matched. But the entrance of Poland into the South American Theatre, could possible spell the end for Brazil. They simply cannot match the power of Poland. And with their EDEN and Terra allies occupied with their own battles as well, we could see a Polish wiping of Brazil.

Western Europe
The Western European Theater has calmed down significantly. Without Brazil to constantly attack the Spanish Coast, and with America being pushed out, the only action is coming from France. So far, they have reclaimed almost all of their land from Spain. However, their regions under Polish control, remain that way. Spain only occupies Paris.
Germany still remains under the thumb of Poland. Whether they make any sort of concentrated effort to liberate more regions ahead of the 25th, and Congressional Elections, remains to be seen. For now however, they are almost a non-player in Europe.

Eastern Europe
I have not mentioned this theater before, but I have been monitoring it. ONE powerhouse, Serbia, declared Terra member, Russia, as Natural Enemy a few days ago. Unfortunately for both Russia and Terra, the Serbians have managed to plow through Russia thus far. The resources that Serbia has captured have no value to them, because they do not have a land bridge to their capital. So obviously, there is another motive here.
Option one, is that Serbia is attempting to go through Russia in order to attack Chinese home regions. This would alleviate pressure on Iran, and force China to defend their themselves from a powerful attack.

However, the more likely destination is America. Alaska is under Canadian control, but Russia does share a border with Washington state. Judging by the speed that Serbia has moved through Russia thus far, it is possible that they could reach a border with America before the 25th. This is important, because if they could be delayed long enough, Canada could simply take control of Washington, thereby blocking the Serbs from American soil. This would however, put Canada at great risk. Especially considering that they already have an open war with Poland. This would mean two open wars with two of the world’s strongest countries. And because of all of the land swaps, Canada does not have many of the MPPs that they normally would.

Overall Analysis
The Spanish-American and Mexican-America Wars look as if they will continue to go back and forth. Especially with American allies Brazil and Russia being in grave danger, expect more American forces to be sent in support of those two nations.
Brazil is in trouble in South America. They were able to stand their own, and then some against Spain, but are simply over matched by Poland.
The Russian-Serbian War is intriguing, and it’s resolution will shape how the war in North America plays out. A four sided (Spain, Poland, Mexico and Serbia) invasion would be almost impossible to overcome. And if Indonesia decides to attack again, a five sided one would be futile.
