eRepublik finally let me change the party logo

As many of you may know I, Mark Valshannar, am the sitting party president of the Socialist Freedom Party in game mechanics terms and the Head of the Revolutionary Committee that governs the SFP. I have some very important announcements.



The Official SFP Policy Regarding the INCI

The Revolutionary Committee, along with input from many active party members, decided on the following as our official policy towards INCI. The decision was not unanimous, however I think it did reflect the feelings of most of our party members. Though I disagree with it strongly I think the cooperative decision made shows that the SFP is truly dedicated to it's mission of greater player participation.

The Dissenting Opinion

I do not often agree with the sitting American President. However in this case I accept that his opinion is correct concerning the INCI.

I am not a racist. I do not hate Turks. I just dislike the actions of the group of Turks collectively known as INCI.

If they can't even keep their promise to run only ten candidates then in my opinion this puts all their other promises into question. I can not in good conscious vote “yay” on the decision and articles the RC chose to endorse and I can not fully agree with what my friend Bruce Sommer has said.

Never-the-less I accept the decision made by the RC that clearly reflects that of the party. I will not try to change their opinion. I merely wish to make my dissent known. I will carry out the wishes of the party and be as accepting of the INCI as I can.

Although I am dissatisfied with the results, I am incredibly satisfied with the process. A Party President was overruled by the general membership of the party, represented by the Revolutionary Committee. Despite the fact that I am the one receiving the rebuke, I can't help but smile and be happy about this.

Clearly I was out of touch with will of a majority of the party. Thanks for the kick in the rear, guys.

Now the SFP and eUSA as a whole have a more pressing matter to deal with, which is what the second half of this article will address.

The Socialist Freedom Party has consistently supported the rights of small nations to be sovereign. The same logic applies to larger nations and currently our home nation, the eUSA, is under attack.

Poland and Indonesia have stepped onto our door step and have kicked down the door.

I propose we call this war: CLUSTER F**K 1. Cause World War X is getting kind of old.

So the SFP has taken steps to revive our party militia, the Bear Cavalry.

We have always fought to maintain the right of each peoples independence.

We have fought to defend South Korea and Bolivia.

We have also fought to defend America and we shall do so again.

The SFP came together and agreed that Glove is love in March.

Yeah, I don't have much to say on this topic seeing as I personally abstained. But congrats to Glove!
