Congressional Ratings - See The Score On Your Congressmen

What are the qualities of a good congressman?
I'd say that honesty, honor, loyalty to their country, responsibility, hardworking, good communication and serving to the people are some of the qualities that make a good congressperson.

Based on the data our congressmen provided, I have made a ranking list.

Following things were rated and taken into consideration:

1 Preparation
Preparation - how well prepared for the elections a congressperson was.
There was 1 point if they had, or 0 if they didn't have a presentation for the elections.

2 Honesty
Honesty - how honest a congressperson is, is it all about the money, or making a difference.
There was 1 point if congressperson donated 5 gold from congress medal to the eEgypt National Bank account, otherwise it was the number of gold donated divided by 5.

3 Loyalty
Loyalty - how loyal to eEgypt a congressperson is.
There was 1 point if the congressperson was in eEgypt at the end of congress term, 0 points otherwise.

4 Honor
Honor - how honorable a congressperson is - did they stay on their duty till the end?
There was 1 point if the congressperson holds eEgyptian citizenship at the end of congress term, 0 points otherwise. By changing the citizenship, the congressperson automatically leaves the congress.

5 Proactivity
Proactivity - how active a congressperson was.
There was 1 point for any of the law proposals, 0 points for no law proposals, also not counting absurd last minute bills.

6 Serving to the people
Serving to the people - how successful a congressperson was representing and helping to the citizens.
There was 1 point if a congressperson communicated with people and helping them during the congress term or at least granting a citizenship.

Total score was a sum of all the scores from 1 to 6. Total Region Score was average all the total scores in a specific country region.

Rank list was assembled with all data available to me. Not all data was fully available, so please, make your contribution, share some information which is missing so we could improve the rank list. There could also be different interpretations of the scores and there are some exceptions and positive examples even if the scores are not completely positive, but that is just how statistics works - with available information and simple scoring points, something which is easy to measure and easy to check.

The order in the congressmen ranklist was sorted first by Total score of the congressmen, then by Honesty points and then by then region average score.

Today, on day 1193 (Feb 25) there was the election day, so don't forget to vote (there are also some experience points if I am not mistaken). However, we are at the end of term of last elected congress. Many of our former congressmen are running for the congress today, so let's see how they did in the last congress term, if they have learned something since then and if we are going to give them our trust again if they deserve a second chance.

Questions to the Congressmen

Many of us ask ourselves what has been done and what hasn't been done during the last congress term and why. So I asked every congressman of eEgypt the following questions.

Questions for the end of congress term in eEgypt:
have you donated 5 golds from the congress medal to eEgypt or you kept it?
How many citizenship requests have you confirmed and how many laws have you proposed during your term in eEgyptian congress?
Optional questions: How are you satisfied with your congress mandate? What would you point out?

For those who have changed their citizenship in the meantime and thus left the congress, I have modified questions a bit.

Questions for the end of congress term in eEgypt:
Have you donated 5 golds from the congress medal to eEgypt or you kept it and have you stayed as a congressman in eEgypt till the end of mandate?
Any specific reasons for changing the location?
How many citizenship requests have you confirmed and how many laws have you proposed during your term in eEgyptian congress?
Optional questions: How are you satisfied with your congress mandate? What would you point out?

Franz Kafka: Nice initiative. But I don't appreciate having zero score on serving the people. I brought in over 130 new citizens to eEgypt and I have put my citizen pass. I have also responded to several queries from constituents. 1 proposal made and accepted, 1 citizenship request approved. I only had one to give. I am satisfied. I stayed the whole time. I used the forums. Fk

heboo: I stood as a congress member just for 7 days, because after I was elected as Country Presiden. I did donate 5 gold! And I didn't propose any laws as a congress member in this mandate! I proposed them when I was selected as congress member before the official elections. As a congress member I approved just 1 citizenship (that is all what I had). I'm satisfied about my short mandate as congress member, but im so disappointed in some of congress members who left before the end of mandate and the irresponsible laws that they proposed.

DanielitoFC: Nobody ever asked me to donate 5 golds, totally unaware that I had to donate. I have proposed 2, in protest. I've also given 1 nationality, I participated daily in the channel of the congress, I am registered on the forum of Egypt. I have spoken many times to tell overk and heboo and my desire to work, and I have always walked around.
It is completely unfair now to treat me as a Spanish TO, when I have not resigned, nor have I escaped, as if they those Croatians and Spaniards.
Just ask Egypt to participate in, but we are unhappy that no Croatian, Croatian not touch anything that distributions.
This indeed seems as a Croatian TO.

overk: I was among first who donated their congress medal and there is a log about it. I am not satisfied at all, because of the people who came here for a medal or for a cheap company license and because of congressmen who behaved like plonkers and were totally ignorant of economy and/or economic advice. I'd like to point out Admin's I don't geve a sh.. to many requests (from the orgs through the military companies, to the CS grants...). I also have a log from IRC on the day I donated the gold from a congress medal, Heboo should have it from the bank account, although... They are deleted after 7 days if I am right. How many CSs have I approved? One, as much as I could. I had 2 law proposals, both being accepted.

john_rambo: It was donated to the Egypt as soon as it appeared on my account 🙂 The mandate was ok, who looked for activity, could find it, and who waited for it to drop to him by itself, didn't find any. I'd like to say to everybody who asked for a CS and then left the congress, that it didn't serve to their honor.

Ban Josip Jelacic II: It could have been much better and I am sure that we would have started more things if we had not so many problems from the Admins' side. I don't know how was it with other congressmen, but I have received 10 ingame messages daily from players who ask for help, some information on the new country or Egyptian CS. I did my best to help them all. It was my pleasure talking to them and meeting new players.

kiffer: I have kept the gold. It was a nice experience being at the first congress of e-Egypt. Only one citizenship (I had one what could I do) in fact it was the Minister of Information's citizenship that I have approved. I proposed only one law; a donation. I had no other things that I wanted to propose and I did't want to spent the proposals. They are precious and it is good to have some proposions for an emergency case. I am satisfied, because I did not leave and because I could help a litle bit to our eCountry... I don't think I can point out something. The best thing in the congress position is that I have access to the congress chat and I can talk with other congress members, some times about Egypt issues but most of the times chatting about Erepublik and RL.

ivansplit: I think that I haven't donated, and I have left the congress a few days ago because I wanted to go back to Croatia and to achieve something, so I joined to the Seals. Of course, I told all of this to heboo and to come back to eEgypt if needed, she said it's OK and that she'll call me if needed. 1 CS for a Croat, I proposed no laws... I'm satisfied, but I would point out inactivity of congressmen (there were 2 or 3 on chat + me) and they would propose laws without asking.

misteryo: I thought it was a Croatian TO. And the gold, wait for them... I'll pay on the 30th February. The same reason why all Spanish congressmen left the country: We didn't have any opportunity to participate in politics. I only confirmed some laws of taxes and an impeachment. I didn't approve any citizenships. I think that it is a Croatian TO, because an ATO comes from all parts of the world, not only from one country, and there were articles in Croatian instead of English. I know that there is no 30th February, I won't pay because I don't want to pay a medal for a TOed country.

Syxyby: I am not satisfied much... 1 CS approved and haven't propose any laws, but I helped to create 1 in the beginning, and someone else proposed it. I gave only 4,99 and I kept 0,01 just for fun and pure symbolics 🙂 We have random stupid law proposals and our import and country taxes are not so balanced. Too few people came to eEgypt so there is no real workforce... There is much to do in egypt 🙂

ugura: Yes, I have donated but I think I made the mistake and donated to the party instead of eEgypt. It was good to be part of the congress. I would like to go for one more round at least. I approved 1 citizenship request for a RL Egyptian getting back to Egypt. He was at a good level with good skills and STR. I have not proposed any laws but voted for all laws proposed.

Glen-livet: I have donated 5 gold, granted 1 citizenship, proposed a law which passed, helped to three people and reppeled 3 Serbian TO-ers. There were many people who wanted to be candidates for the congress and couldn't, because there was limited number of places, and then, those who were elected, behave like this. And I don't mean on strangers, because, they probably saw us (Croatians) as some kind of protected clan, and I can understand them, but I mean on some of our people (some Croatians, who haven't shown worthy of this position)! I have left eEgypt to give a chance to younger players, to RL eEgyptians, also because salaries in eEgypt are low... 😛, I take part in elections by voting.
