Leroy Combs for Rhode Island
Leroy Combs
I hope you continue to give me the opportunity to represent you in congress. This month has been a very active month in congress even though the first week to ten days was pretty slow. The last ten days have been very busy as congress has taken it upon them selves to politicize the military. I felt if this was to be done it should have been done in public, congress and the speaker of the house passed the constitutional amendment limiting the power of our top military officer in secret. That's right congress passed this amendment covering the largest organization in our country without any public input or review by the people that elected them.
If you continue to allow me to represent you I will continue to strive for more accountability and transparency in your government. I will continue to strive for a real budget in which congress knows how much it spends, congress hasn't known what it has spent since last year.
Thank you for your time and hopefully your vote.

Agreed with MP. Had we done it in public, JCS might have refused to take part in Discussion, due to OPSEC or w/e, then made a bigger stink about not being included.
Really, this melodrama is beneath the kind of player you usually are, Leroy.
Don't worry about the haters Leroy, most know this law is crap, and want it gone. Keep fighting the good fight, and GL in RI.
Good luck Leroy! You're a fine Congressman.
Good luck Leroy.
Good luck Leroy, you can count on my vote.
Even though Leroy and I occasionally disagree, I voted this article. o7
So much for transparency.
