Appreciation


I'd like to thank all 40 of you who voted for me for Party President. I really do feel honored to have received all of your votes. We came into the election day wondering if we were a target for a political take over. While that question was never fully answered (and it seems as if some are playing it off as a joke now) I do feel encouraged that so many people were active and ready to help defend our party. That is what it is all about. Representing people like you is one of this game's greatest honors.





Cabinet


I'd like to start off the month of my reign of terror (just kidding) with announcement of the USDP Cabinet.

Party Vice President: PigInZen. PigInZen joined the USDP shortly after we had started it. To be honest when he first joined we were not sure about his true intentions - we were a new party and he was someone with a lot of political experience/power. But as the month drew on it became very apparent that he was one of this party's most important resources. PigInZen has been a voice of reason and logic, someone with great experience, and someone whom I respect deeply. I'm glad to have him as the PVP to help steer me onto the right path.

Chief of Staff: John Jay. JJ and I have known each other for as long as I have played this game. JJ is another player with a great amount of experience and a hard work ethic. JJ is never afraid to tell it like it is (much to the dismay of several people on the eUSA forums) and will argue his case as adamantly as any. He knows how to get things done and how to guide people into getting their work done. Because of that I asked him to serve as my CoS. He will keep me on my path and help the party grow.

Public Relations Manager: Sir Valaro Volcrum. SVV knows how to write articles. He also knows what makes people passionate and interested in this game. He represents the ideals of the USDP well and knows how to convay that to others. Because of that he will once again serve as our PR Manager.

Elections Director: Dennis McVicker. The man who helped the USDP gain 4 congressional seats last month, Dennis is another well experienced player. Dennis has good working relationships with several other parties and knows how the election system works. With him at the wheel of our election program we can only expect it to grow.

Communications Director: Synesi. New to the leadership ring but probably one of the hardest working members here. Synesi constantly dedicated his time and effort into keeping the party updated and informed of current events. The PP vote total is largely due to his efforts to get the party active and to keep them informed. I'm very pleased to place him into this role and expect great things.

Advisers: LoftedRaptor, Nuriessa, Custer, Emporer Rick. All four of these people have a wealth of information to give and that is why we term them "Advisers". They each can bring something different to the table but mesh well together and will help grow this party.





What's Next for the USDP


As a candidate I promised to put forth the best interests of the USDP at all times and to work my butt off for this party. I stand by that. I am looking forward to a month of hard work with the hopes of great achievements. We have a lot of dedicated people in the party and we hope to gain more. This can only mean great things.

Our first focus will be on Congressional Election Sign-Ups. If you are a part of the USDP and would like to run for congress make sure you sign up HERE. If you need help or advice with your election campaign please be sure to ask for it on there or to contact Dennis McVicker.

We also are going to be stressing recruitment and party platform establishment. Last month our party more than doubled in size. I hope we can repeat that this month, although it would be a very large increase. We also began work last month to fully define our PLATFORM. While we had some feedback (all of which was great) I would like to see more input. I want to know what people think of our goals, ideas, and manifesto. You have a chance to help shape our party, make the most of it!
