New Africa Party, a history

Day 1,178, 05:06 Published in South Africa South Africa by New Africa

The beginning

New Africa was founded 2 march 2010 by Fred Santer as a non political organisation run by a group of mainly young citizens all under level 16, all who wanted to become involved in the game and wanted to use New Africa as a stepping stone. Our main goal was was to teach new players the game so they can get through the ranks as fast as their own drive and potential will take them. New players can develop with us in any way they see fit, we have economists, politicians and military masters wrapped in our ranks. One of the core values was to offer a voice to anyone who has an opinion, whether you've been playing for a month a day or a year your opinion counts. A new player's voice can get lost in the greater eSA scheme of things but newbies can let their ideas take root here at New Africa, and then we present a united front in eSA.

The New Africa organization had big plans like such as: having our own company, newspaper, party, getting into a congress, having an influence on eSA life. In March 2010 not long after New Africa started eSouth Africa was PTO'ed and New Africa was put on hold. After the PTO they started fulfilling their plan and made a org and starting a newspaper, also a gift company was opened by New Africa, the produced gift where used to help new user who had problems with keeping their health as close to 100 as possible.

Politics

There had been some discussion about starting a political party and if they should make their own party or join the Progressive Party of South Africa run by Hamilton Moore. In a vote 85% of the members voted for starting their own party and not join the Progressive Party of South Africa. After eSouth Africa was back on the map the Harvad University PTO'ers where still in control of one party. On March 24th the day before the congress elections the party president got banned and J Warren became party president and renamed it Do Not Vote For. In the April party president elections Dustin Wetdewich ran for president of Do Not Vote For and won the elections, and renamed it to New Africa party and was the first official party president of New Africa Party.

Over the passing months some months where better then others. Under the party presidency of Dustin Wetdewich New Africa secured 5 seats in congress including 3 new members. This was a huge success for the Party as many of the members had little experience in the game. This was followed by a less successful term by Awesome Me, another founding member of New Africa. In this term, only 1 seat was secured and very little coordination going into the elections. The most recently concluded Party President term was by Bobady Zoo. This was a fairly successful term with 7 seats in congress for New Africa Members. The month after this Fhaemita Malodorous who recently joined the party became party president and stayed party president for 5 months. During this time the party was PTO'ed by the Hungarian who has PTO'ed South Africa. In November 2010 New Africa was the official resistance party of South Africa. On December 15, 2010 the party was moved to Brazil after South Africa was wiped off the map. It is currently a minor Center-left, Anarchist party in Brazil and currently goes under the name Frente Revolucionaria Popular.

In January 2011 Fhaemita Malodorous created a party under the name eSA National Unity Party, the party was renamed after the party president elections of January 2011. New Africa Party currently has sixteen members and is currently the second biggest party after Independent Alternative. Altough New Africa is now a well established party that has provided South Africa with a presidents, vice president multiple ministers and deputy minister and party members fulfilling a variety of other position in the South African community, New Africa still holds to it's original principle of equal treatment of new citizens and giving new citizens a voice and the opportunity to have their voice heard and get involved.
