European Battlefields [Days 1151-1153]

Day 1,153, 11:42 Published in Croatia Croatia by Janko Fran
By closing ranks of EDEN nations, the situation on the European battlefields has also improved.

Croatia and its surrounding

After Serbian attack on South Dalmatia 2 days ago and successful defense (8:2 for Croatia) and after Croatian counterstrike by attacking Federation BiH under Serbian occupation (8:1 for Serbia) the ping-pong war between Serbia and Croatia continues. Current score is 1:1 in sets and its Serbia's turn to serve. We can expect another attack on South Dalmatia. Strategically wise would be an attack on Montenegrin Coast region in order to break out on the border with Italy in Apulia region.

Southeast Europe - Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia (FYROM)

Turkey has reclaimed its original Marmara region from Greeks and has retaken the initiative in the Greek-Turkish war, and has simultaneously reopened its border with Bulgaria, although not a war. In the meantime Bulgaria has backed off the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to its original borders so Bulgaria has the initiative at the moment so we can expect an attack on East Macedonia region.

Middle Europe - Italy, Slovenia, Serbia

Slovenia - before the rebel wars in Italy, Germany, Austria and Slovenia!

Slovenija - aftere the rebel wars.

That everything good lasts short now can see Slovenians, too. Yesterday's rebel wars in all Italian, German and Austrian regions under Slovene occupation have all succeeded and all the regions have been returned to its homeland countries. In the last 24 hours Slovenia has lost 12 occupied regions. Great Slovenia bubble has burst and Slovenia is inside its original borders.

Slovenian region Upper Carniola (where EDEN forces rebel war has not succeeded), is still held by Serbia, as well as Austrian Tyrol. However, Italy now has an initiative in Slovene-Italian war so we can expect Italian attack on Slovenian Littoral. If that attack supported by italian allies succeeds, Italy would get a new border with eSerbia. In that case the Serbian bridge in Upper Carniola could be in geopardy. Even if the attack doesn't succeed, EDEN intervention a la Italiano is still possible, both in Upper Carniola and in Tyrol, although on the enemy's terrain.

If Serbia returns home to the Balkans, the Serbian pressure on South Dalmatia could increase. However, it is very much likely to detour Croatia completely through Montenegro in order to create new Serbian exit-bridge from the Balkans through Southern Italy and its Apulia region in the context of the new changes in the game and new borders on the Adriatic coast announced by the Admin (possibility of getting an exit to the seacoast and gaining a fish region, oil regions in Molise and Abruzzo, and possibility to break out to the border with Spain through Sardinia).

Middle and East Europe - Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Hungary

East Europe - battles in Ukraine

Slovakia has broken out to the border with Romania in Subcarpathia region, but the Ukraineans have started a rebel war. Bukovina has been captured by Russia. Currently Bassarabia is under Russian attack. In short, Ukraine is in a very difficult position and it depends on help of its allies.

Romania currently borders with four enemy countries (Hungary, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia) and we are expecting new hungarian attack in Romanian-Hungarian war.

West and Middle Europe

Recent decisions in Spain have been cause of public debates. As a result - Spanish president has been impeached.

Poland has erased Netherland and suppresed Dutch and French rebel wars in Southern Netherlands and Poitou Charentes (rubber) regions. Thus, the situation in West Europe has settled at the moment.

Czech republic has reemerged on the map, but Slovaks have voted them up as their natural enemies, so it seems that they want to erase Czech Republic again.

North Europe

The swapping-region-war between Finland and Norway continues. Currently, Ostlandet, the Norvegian region is under attack, but Norway defenses are holding and Norway is leading by 5:1 score. Poland and Spain are fighting on Norvegian side, and Croatia, the US, Bulgaria, Romania and China are fighting for the Finns. However, this is a low priority and low intensity battle.
