Hello, sla- I mean, my beloved citizens,

As I hope you know, since I hope that you voted if you're active enough to be reading this, I am the country's President for the next month. If you read my manifesto, you will also know that this will be the ONLY month that I am President, most likely for the rest of my eLife. (Hekter, if you ever run again and make me follow you to this crazy position, I may lose my head.) As such, I'd like to inform all of you about my current plans, and the first touches of my Presidency. Please note that I have probably already lost my mind from the fact that I'm President, again, and being President is a terrible job. Also, GRAWWARRGGH!!!!

Firstly, I would like to note that I will be keeping Hekter on board in the executive branch, returning him to what, if I remember correctly, was his first major role as an official member of the ePhilippine government: Minister of Foreign Affairs. He has not officially been in this role for quite some time, however, he has always served as a very helpful connection in the foreign affairs sector of our government, and I am sure that he will be very helpful in the upcoming term.

Secondly, before long, the committee system within congress should begin, or at least it will be worked on. I urge all congressmen interested in becoming more active (Which should be ALL of you!) to visit the forums in the upcoming days, and see how they can help. This month's committees and how they work will most likely create a precedent for all future sessions of congress. This is important, so please, do your best, everyone!
