[President] The V-day

Honorable citizens of Homonavia, I come to you today with a proposal.

I have now been your president since 5th november last year. After two rather successful months as the elected leader of this country, I look back at what we've accomplished together during this time and I feel a tingling sense of pride and happiness.



Swedes are often quick to celebrate, but we also have a short memory span. Let me therefore remind you that before I became president...

... we had very few wars, if any at all.
... we had nowhere near the level of MPPs and positive, foreign relations that we have now.
... we had inactive departments and ministers and a conflict between the congress and TSM.
... we had unstable state finances.
... we had no foreign regions under the Swedish flag.
... we had no high regions at all.

So much has happened that it's not unfair to say that we've developed into a new country. I'm not saying that this is all my work, rather the contrary, but I believe that I may have helped in creating stability in a country which is known for constantly getting caught up in conflicts and inner turmoil. There are certain players who have contributed more now than they did before and as long as that continues, I would be a fool not to run for another re-election.

One month ago, I went out on a limb and promised that I would make sure that we increased our population even more than we did in november. Sadly, I could not live up to my own high expectations o +20%. Although admins changed so that you now can live anywhere in the world and still keep your seat in congress, work and party membership, there's really no good excuse for us not growing more than we do at the moment. I will continue to work hard to achieve a better environment for our newborn babies and the first change will be an updated, modernized new citizen message.

We did, however, secure new resources (both fruit and oil) and our diplomatic relations towards the outside world are more in tune with where we're heading. We also managed to increase our gold and SEK revenues even further and work with cutting down maintenance time in the military administrative tasks has already begun.

I also held a meeting with the Scandinavian presidents and it led up to Denmark and Sweden entering a union, Homonavia, so that we could liberate Denmark from PTO. This meeting also paved way for the region swap where Norway got our deer in Jamtland in exchange for their oil in Trondelag. We decided, however, not to MPP with Finland... but that was strictly out of military strategic reasons.

I'm also very happy to announce that Utbildningsverket has become more active than in many, many months! The addition of several new members have enabled our Ministry of Education to work more actively and smoothly. We're seeing articles from UV in our media again - which is precisely what we want (and need)!

For all what we've accomplished during my time in office, I owe many thanks to several people. This is also why I would to pre-announce that in case I win the election, many gifted, active and dedicated players will take part in our next government. I will also make sure that the Danes gets at least one representative within the government, to make sure that the interests of their people will not be overlooked.

I also vow that we will get our soldier Maximilian home to safety in one piece. His services will then be rewarded with the Pink V of Awesomeness and he will get his own day in the Homonavian calendar.
