[DPI] Getting active

Day 1,113, 16:06 Published in India India by Democratic Party of India

India,

It's been some time since this newspaper was used. I log in from time to time to check on what's going on inside the organization, but I've never gotten around to writing articles. So, after reading an article by Parinama, I realized that it was time Democratic Party of India (DPI) started getting active again.

DPI's history
DPI is an old political party. Founded back when citizenship didn't exist in eRepublik, the player who founded DPI was a foreigner. After leaving (Being banned) in eRepublik, the party was passed on to the new members. I personally joined DPI a few hours after it was formed, because the original founder messaged me asking me to join. I haven't regretted that decision ever since.

DPI Today
Today, DPI has fallen back in membership. At its peak, it had about 70 members more or less. Part of the reason that the membership has fallen back is because of all the conquered regions, and the fact that we are constantly attacked by PTO'ers. I would like to change that, and bring us back to the peak days, when we were the second biggest political party, we had Presidents who were part of us, and were up there with India United.

Facts about DPI
Some facts you may not know:
-DPI is the second oldest political party in India
-DPI has had three Presidents in office
-DPI was first called India's Libertarian's, then changing to India's Worker's Party, and finally, its current name, Democratic Party of India
-Up until recent times, DPI always held the second most seats in Congress
-DPI's most famous stand is its member's support on a multi-party political system (India United has traditionally supported a one-party system)

New Members
If you're a new member looking for a political party to join, then feel free to join DPI. I'm not going to promise a bunch of lies, this is a political party, we can't give you everything you want. But we can give you advice, a friendly setting, and make you feel welcome. So, feel free to join DPI, a very historic party.

Conclusion
Let me make this clear: I'm not trying to steal members from IU or anything. I'm not trying to make this the biggest party by a huge margin. Yes, I'd love to see us as the hugest party, but my biggest goal right now is to make this party active again. I want to see everyone in DPI active. So, if you're active, join DPI, and you'll fit right in, and remember, stay active.

Note:Some of you may not know this, but on the National Indian Forum, DPI has its own sub-forum. Message me if you're a member of DPI and want access to the sub-forum. I can grant you access and you can join in discussions with DPi members.

Stay active, contribute, and enjoy!
