Enkele dagen geleden ontvouwde zich een bijna Shakespeareaans drama in ons land, met als hoofdpersonen ons eigen eNederland, het eVK en Phoenix. Door een gebrek aan communicatie werd, zonder dat onze regering op de hoogte was, Oostelijk Nederland aangevallen door het eVK. Dit was niet overeengekomen tussen de eNederlandse en eBritse regeringen, maar bleek een rechtstreeks uit het Phoenix hoofdkwartier afkomstig bevel. Hier was dus sprake van grove miscommunicatie tussen de drie bovenstaande dramatis personae. Maar dat is inmiddels geschiedenis.
Wat dat niet is, tenminste niet voor zover ik weet, zijn de officiële excuses vanuit datzelfde hoofdkwartier. Dat wil zeggen, niet aan de Nederlandse bevolking. Dan zijn er dus twee mogelijke scenario’s in het tweede bedrijf van deze klucht. Ofwel Phoenix heeft excuses gemaakt, aan onze regering, en deze heeft dat niet openbaar gemaakt, ofwel er zijn geen excuses gemaakt.
Als het eerste scenario het juiste is, roep ik onze regering op om deze excuses openbaar te maken. En dat is dan dat. Echter, misschien zijn er, zoals geschetst in scenario twee, helemaal nog geen excuses gemaakt.
In dat geval roep ik Phoenix dringend op om haar excuses te maken voor deze domme, onprofessionele en beschamende vergissing! Zo behoort een organisatie als Phoenix, voor wie wij eNederlanders iedere dag vechten, haar bondgenoten niet te behandelen, al is hun bedoeling nóg zo goed! Lang leve een sterk en vrij eNederland!



A couple of days ago, an almost Shakespearean drama unfolded in our country, starring our own eNetherlands, the eUK, and Phoenix. Due to a lack of communication, without informing our government, the Eastern Netherlands were invaded by the eUK. This hadn’t been agreed on by the eDutch and eBritish governments, but it turns out to have been an order straight from Phoenix Headquarters. It was a case of gross miscommunication between the three dramatis personae mentioned above. But that is history.
What is not history, at least as far as I know, is an official apology from said HQ. That is to say, an apology to the Dutch people. There are two possible scenarios in the second act of this farce. Either Phoenix has apologized, to our government, and they have not made it public, or Phoenix has not apologized.
If the first scenario is the right one, I call upon our government to make the apology known to us all. And that would be the end of it. However, as described in scenario two, perhaps no apologies have been made yet.
If that is the case, I make an urgent appeal to Phoenix to apologize for this stupid, unprofessional and disgraceful error. This is not the way an organization like Phoenix, for which we eDutch fight every day, should deal with its allies, regardless of all the good intentions they may have with their actions. Long live the strong and free eNetherlands!
