PCP News #1

Day 1,067, 01:07 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by People's Initiative

This is an interesting and fun time for the PCP. Having recently departed from our alliance with the TUP, we ran an independent candidate in the CP elections who finished 2nd, an impressive feat. Last week we almost single handedly retook Scotland from Finnish occupation (thanks to our People’s Army) in a battle where we won all of the 8 battles that there were.

There is no doubt that this is the most exciting time to join the PCP, and get involved on the forums (simply request access to the PCP subforum on Private Forum Requests and People’s Communist Party will be available under the Party Politics header), help out in our committees, meet fellow PCP-ers and even get a chance of getting elected into a congress seat as a representative of our party. The congress elections are coming up in just over a week’s time, so hurry up over here!

This is the first issue in series of weekly articles from the PCP, giving updates on our progress during the week.

PCP offers British Army hope
As your probably aware, most of the the British Army's infrastructure was stolen last week, totaling approximately 4000g. PCP swiftly offered Army command the use of the party weapons communes for army servicemen and women. The offer is still open and the communes will always be available to the armed forces whenever needed. As a party we are more than willing to put aside petty arguments and work with the government for the good of the eUK, we are committed to aiding the country whenever and wherever possible.

eScottish Freedom
Recently, eScotland was invaded by the eFinnish army. The government was unwilling to fight back and retake it, so the People’s Army (organised by the PCP) started an incredibly successful resistance war yesterday, ending in the eUK winning back eScotland after every single battle was won by the eUK. Thank you to everyone of all parties who helped regain this region for the eUK.

Blacklisted Members
The PCP has recently received bad press after members from other parties accused PCP members of being traitors when a small group fought against the eUK in their invasion of eDublin, wishing to fight against eUK imperialism. The PCP is opposed to imperialism in principle. These members, as well as citizens not affiliated with PCP, have been blacklisted from congress, and the incident has unfairly stereotyped the PCP. PCP members are individuals. The party believes in upholding the rights and free agency of the individual. The attitude of individual PCP members does not represent the attitude of the party and the attitude of the party certainly does not represent that of the individual. As always, the PCP encourages dissenting free thought and free action, but reminds people that the responsibility for such action cannot and will not be circumvented.

CP Elections
In last months country president elections our candidate johnobrow came 2nd to the RFA’s GGRyan and we are looking forward to supporting another PCP candidate this month. If you want to put yourself forward or help pick this months candidate all the information you need is here.

Communes
The PCP run an efficient chain of communes ran by workers to take ownership and administration of there own labour. Every worker in our commune has equal access to resources and compensated equally at minimum wage and anyone (regardless of party affiliation) can join. To join a commune, simply PM The People's Commune or go on IRC (see below) to request a job.

IRC
The PCP own a public channel, #pcp, on the Rizon network. Go there for help, to get involved and to be updated on all the latest issues and information.

That’s all for this week, don’t forgot to get onto the forums and get involved o/
May the solidarity be with you.
