[MoF] State Assets
NBB-BNB
I’m in office now for 9 days in eBelgium, since the election results became official. In those days, I have been familiarizing with the job in eBelgium. I have been Minister of Finances in eNL four mandates, but of course each country has a different working environment. Main things done in those 9 days were (and are) fighting the “grain/food crisis”, keeping the BEF exchange rates pretty much stable, and assessing our state assets. Another thing I am doing right now: reviving the MoF newspaper.
I have renamed the newspaper (formerly just known as “For Belgium”) to “eBE MoF News and Reports”. Yes, it might sound like I had pretty much no inspiration, but it does cover what’s in it. I hope to keep this newspaper a bit alive, to ensure full transparency to all eBelgian citizens.
I think it’s good to start the newly revived newspaper with an overview of the assets (in terms of organization, companies, etc.) that the country possesses. Note that most companies are close
😛finding workers for private business owners is already extremely hard, and I don’t feel it’s the government’s task (or even right) to make the market for good labor even more competitive.

Good work.
Cheap one Bokki 😛 Good luck!
Very nice work.
@ Theneka: I'm building it up slowly. Don't want to shock you with too much information at once 😛
(WHY does a smiley with a lower case p work, and with an upper case P not?! 😛 )
Nice, voted!
Very good article, Boklevski, as usual.
The first one of a long term... 🙂
Great article (;
But didn't we also have a military org a couple of months ago? What happened to it? Or am I remembering things that weren't actually there? 😛
Found it:

Belgian War Council (+ iron company)
Does it still belong to the governement?
Very good overview, Boklevski! Thank you!
@Aldous Yes, it does still belong to the government, under the control of the Ministry of National Security, headed by Thore Thoreson.
Good report Boklevski (as we all expect from you!).
BUT "... I don’t feel it’s the government’s task (or even right) to make the market for good labor even more competitive." may well see workers living hand-to-mouth. A factory may create a workplace, but a worker creates the wealth.
Look forward to your next excellent report - and a good descriptive name beats faux inspiration.
