Brazil and Hungary: Fractures within Phoenix
Cavalcanti
In recent days rising tensions over South Africa have surfaced in the Brazilian media, resulting in confrontation between Brazilian and Hungarian citizens. For those who aren’t up-to-date here's a summary of recent events involving Brazil, Hungary and South Africa:
On July the 25th Hungarian citizens managed to obtain an absolute majority (over 66
😵of South African Congress. During the August elections, 26 Hungarians were elected, resulting in a total of 72% of the South African Congress seats being under Hungarian control.
With South Africa unable to sign MPPs since July, Brazil saw the perfect opportunity to control a High-Titanium region again. On August the 24th, Brazil invaded Northern Cape, a region with High-Titanium and a high concentration of South African companies. montaigne, former congressmen and now President of South Africa then wrote an article disputing the Brazilian attack on an “almost allied” South Africa. The result, expected or not, was a great conflict involving Hungarians and Brazilians mutually casting accusations over the matter. The President of Brazil, Vigoncalves86, published an article attempting to calm the situation, emphasizing the longstanding Brazilian-Hungarian friendship.
A couple of days later - and probably after a PHOENIX meeting involving Brazil, Hungary and Hungarian South Africa - an agreement was made public, wherein the Hungarian government acknowledged the Hungarian PTO of South Africa as an official government-supported move. The agreement basically stated that Brazil could swap to Gauteng instead of NC as its High-Titanium region. It also stated who would have to pay for what. You can read the whole agreement here.
After a couple of peaceful days, when the swaps were done and Brazil was already in control of Gauteng, a RW was started in said region. Montaigne wrote another article making it clear that Hungarians wouldn't fight against Brazil in the RW. Brazilians didn't believe the article and another serious conflict started in the comments. Annoyed by the Brazilians, montaigne leading the Hungarians started to publish articles in Brazilian media. The result was a successful takeover in their media: The top 7 were completely Hungarian.
Basically, this is what happene
😛the Brazilian Vice-President said "The Brazilian government isn't answering questions about this subject." So, it’s hard to say the exact Brazilian point of view on this.
What most drew the attention of your fellow journalist who writes to you now is this: the reaction of Brazilians, especially the Brazilian government, towards the Hungarian-Africans. Since the very first moment these issues surfaced, Brazilians answered Hungarians with an aggressiveness unexpected by the Hungarians. “Perhaps they were mad and/or jealous because a small group of Hungarians managed to occupy the country they’ve tried so many times to invade and didn’t make it” said montaigne, Hungarian leader in South Africa.
The dissatisfaction of Brazilian citizens towards Phoenix is slightly visible already. An OP of the #EBR channel showed his disappointment with his current alliance and other members present agreed unanimously.
Caius Julio Cesar, an influent brazilian citizen, shouted a few days ago:
The english translation would be:
The facts of the matter are clear. Brazilians have been discussing the future of Brazil lately, specifically talking about national alliance policy. Unfortunately, this discussion is kept in the private section of the Brazilian national forum. Perhaps this should be discussed openly; it might give everyone a more distinct impressions of the stakes in these events. Nevertheless, let's hope to read some interesting news regarding Brazil in the following days.

🙂
trolololo
I have to add one correction:
At the time of the RW the Gauteng I was just a congressman, Stadler City being the President. Nevertheless, prior to the agreement I was participating on the negotiations.
montaigne
Thanks, montaigne. Fix'd 🙂
Stop trolling each other
Why do you publish it in USA? Need another media mogul medal?
FAIL eden troll
get out EDEN from South América!
Just Erase the SA and erase the TOs, Brazil. GTFO with them : 3.
Eden FTW!
and Santirub get a girlfriend dude
Cavalca had a dream: Brazil and USA fighting together in a new American Alliance. However, all alliance need countrys in differents time zones.
It's obvious that this article was written by a proEDEN citizen.
I might be wrong eSupernova, but Cavalcanti is a ex-CP of Brazil and pro-PHX
"It's obvious that this article was written by a proEDEN citizen."
Maybe... But so what?
Cavalcanti pro-PHX?
he is pro-Yourself!

~hyuu~
There aren't any tensions really :') propagandamaxxxxx
Brazil+USA+Canada😃omination
just saying
I knew this would happen. Brazil wants to wipe eSA off the map too badly to just sit back and do nothing while the PTOers take over.

great article voted
I'm going to hesitate with speculation on this subject. After WW3 Russia seemed poised to switch sides (with the Indo's initially ignoring their demands for WSR back). And even later France was almost on our team (until Spain kicked their asses into next week). Hopefully nobody does anything stupid in EDEN this time (although Spain totally had a duty to beat on France) and hopefully nothing the eHuns do can affect the current situation.
Thanks for the laughs man. The Hungarian occupation is the most fun I've had so far in this game! subscribed
Cheaters on one side, liars on other. Something nice will come out of this one.
Gauteng would have been returned, Montaigne isn't stupi😛 Phoenix, and even Hungary, would choose Brazil over a PTO government in South Africa, even if Brazil were in the wrong.
I thinks it's time to unsub
Fighting with Brasil on my team would be cool🙂
A good addition to this article would be the fact that the hungarian PTOers asked the brazilian government to strike NC and they made hungarians do 32k damage against a former ally.
We signed a agreement with Hungary, but the brazilian government doesnt consider it like an oficial PTO and believe the group controlling south africa today is made by hostile mercenaries.
thnx very much for the article!
"Cheaters on one side, liars on other"
..here i am stuck in the middle with you.
interesting
VIVA eSA
HAIL EDEN
~HYUU~!
I for one welcome our new friends! Or wait... is that too soon to say this?
I can see Brazil joining Brolliance/EDEN. Phoenix has let them down and pushed them around for too long. Brazil needs to ask herself what is best for her, and maybe an alliance change is just what is needed.
Pele!
Dejan "Rambo" Petkovic!
Brazil
Serbia
Cavalcanti for CP!!! 🙂
newspaper unsubbed
regards,
EDEN Troll
Too bad see that kind of article coming from a brazillian that use to be influent and that now seems want to bring whole Brazil to his side, an "United Statians"' side
like we want brasil on our side lol
This is a lot to think about. Very interesting article - thanks
My Shout was JUST examples of issues discussed to call people to participate in the forum, not to discuss the specific question of alliances, it was just an example.
And I'm not influential, I'm just ridiculously good looking 😉)
I just said you were influent to strengthen my point . . .
