Robert Loggia for UIP PP

Donarudo supports me.

Sup,

I'd like to apply for the party president position of the United Independents Party.

In the past few months, the UIP has rebounded from its partial stagnancy. New members, new discussions, and new friends. Of course, that's been p awesome. But at the same time, we haven't been doing so hot in other ways. You're probably aware of our certain feuds and reputations we've had with others, which hasn't been helping us when it comes to everyone else's view of the UIP. But the larger problem is that we're a little too insular: there have been a few times recently where I've seen people say that the UIP is mostly dead, which obviously isn't the case. Not many UIPers have ever ventured out to create a strong presence in the media or eUS forums. Most members tend to stay on the party forums. While I do love how the UIP is one of the tightest-knit communities in eRepublik, many of us seem to forget about everyone else. The UIP needs to let itself be known more widely across the country. We have a tradition of speaking our minds, so why don't we go out and do it more often? As PP, I'd make sure we're known.

- The party newspaper should be utilized more often and improved. Election articles make more sense when they come out the next day instead of a week later.

- We need to be louder and more active. Although a bunch of you hate SEES, you have to realize their success came from being vocal and well known. Doing that can be as simple as writing an article on any issue you feel strongly about.

If people like the UIP, they'll be more inclined to join us. Simply messaging people isn't going to do that. IT'S A TEAM EFFORT, BROS.

But anyway, like I said earlier, we're doing wonderfully internally. Let's keep that going.

When the UIP has its PP primary (whenever that will happen), remember to vote for me. All your wildest dreams will come true.
