So you have made it passed Day 1 of V2 (eRepublik Rising) or what I like to use the initials E.R., as in Emergency Room. * * insert cricket noises here * *

At this time I will like to point out a couple mistakes I feel I made in my first article. First is the area of our learning/training for Library, this may sound confusing but bear with me please this is important. In BETA I was able to learn multiple times up to 4 hrs, I was able to learn for more than 4 hours even when I all I had left was one hour of the 4. Now I have not tried this one on Day One, but I will be attempting this and will update this article with my results. If you have questions about this and I know you will, please PM me (Zagarius) here or in the country forum.

GD 961: I just tried to do what the ADMINs said and tried to study more than ONE (1) skill and could not. There is text that states "Select Another Skill", but it is not a button. Is this a bug or just the ADMINs playing with us? I do not know and well I advise you to study one skill only, per day!

Company - work at least for 4 hours but you can't work over 12 hours, you can only work once.
Training Grounds - train at least for 4 hours but you can't work over 12 hours, you can only train once.
Library - you must use at least 2 hours for studying. You can spend maximum of 12 hours studying one skill. You can spend all hours on studying just one profession, or spend them on a combination of different professions. You can't study a specific profession more than once per day.
Residential District - You can spend 12 hours maximum resting, you can only rest once.

There is a Wiki page already dedicated to the above information under Time management. I advise everyone to start at this page and review the Wiki pages, more links will be made available, for quick reference.

As promised I will be going into greater detail on Work and Fighting

Work

If you are not aware there are 11 different professions, each profession has a list of what jobs are associated with that profession, with a total of jobs in parentheses ( ).

Harvester (5) – Grain, Iron, Oil, Stone (wood), Titanium (diamond)

Architect (2) – House, Defensive Systems
Builder (3) – House, Hospital, Defensive Systems
Carpenter (2) – House, Hospital

Engineer (4) – Rifle, Tank, Artillery, Air Unit
Fitter (4) – Rifle, Tank, Artillery, Air Unit
Marketing Manager (2) – Food, Moving Ticket

Mechanic(4) – Rifle, Tank, Artillery, Air Unit
Producer (2) – Food, Moving Ticket
Project Manager (4) – Moving Ticket, Hospital, Defensive Systems

Technician (4) – Rifle, Tank, Artillery, Air Unit

As you can see some professions have more job opportunities than others, like Harvester has the most with 5 and Architect, Carpenter and Producer have the least with 2. Some professions will be paying more than before, as we are now paid by the hour based on your skill level. Even today I saw some low level skills get paid more than higher levels. And yes you can apply for a level 3 Harvester when your skill level is 8. So don’t pass up on Apprentice (level 1), check it out and you may make more money!

Remember pay is by the hour and you choose the hours worked! So if you see a job for 6.50/hr TAKE IT because you can make 78 ZAR after working 12 hours. So choose wisely grasshopper...

Starting a new profession takes little time, in the beginning, going from skill 1 (apprentice) to skill level 4 (senior) it takes a total of 7 days. A single week to jump 4 skill levels!!!

For more information on this, Click here to go to the Professions Wiki page.

Here is a list of New Wiki pages in everything I have covered so far you should look them over to learn more than what was on BETA:

Work
Training Grounds
Library
Residential_district

I did promise to have this article include the military section, but as I am writing this the military section is just so darn long that I will be splitting these into 2 separate articles. You will appreciate that...

I advise people to continue to check back for updates to this article and for Part 3 (Military) in this continuing Series.
