Turks: Ireland Ain't the Promised Land
Lord Rhindon
Sorry, This isn't Canaan.
So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey--the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.
- Exodus 3:8
Actually...I've never seen those tribes around here. I think you have the wrong place?
A boatload of 50+ Turks, self-declared eCommunists. Invited here by Brian Boru, as they'll join the Labor Party. The reason is, these people have been persecuted in their homeland, and seek political refuge in a tolerant place, a country that is more welcoming towards foreign, politically organised mobs.
Ireland fits the bill, apparently.
WRONG.
We accept immigrants, we give shelter to refugees, we do tolerate their views. To a reasonable extent. That line is horrendously violated when, practically, an entire private army is employed from overseas. Let me be clear...
1. These are recruits. Not a natural population boom.
2. These are foreigners: Very unfamiliar with our language, let alone the concept of being 'Irish'.
3. They are organized. They have leaders, a code, and views external to our laws and customs.
4. These are Communists. They expect tolerance here, but it's unlikely we'll get any in return.
5. They have muscle. 50 members. 50 comments. 50 votes. All to one party. Already big.
6. They are a PTO in the making. Intentional, or unintentional, rapid or eventual, they will influence the media, they will inhabit Congress, they will pass laws, and they will win elections. Its natural.
Brian believes he can keep them on a leash. I'm utterly skeptical about that. Oh, they may seem a courteous, decent, harmless lot....aye....its smiles all around, isn't it?
Fifty Turks today. What tomorrow? A hundred Pakistani Dioists?
This sets a precedent I am not comfortable with.
For those of you fellow patriotic countrymen who know a little Irish folklore, turn your memory to the Fir Bolg's arrival to the island, escaping servitude under Greek masters. Their presence was not trivial - the entire land eventually succumbed to their dominance, for good or for worse.
Unlike the political scene...
Time and time again...
History does not lie.
Please note. This is NOT discrimination, don't start the self-pity crap with me. This stems from genuine, widespread concern within Ireland that I believe is absolutely valid, and should be heeded with utmost care...
Thank you,
~ Lord Rhindon
Politician of Old, British Isles and Ireland.

Lord Rhindon, feel free to invite your own buddies to whatever political party you're involved in to Ireland. If they're genuinely trying to become citizens of Ireland, they're all welcome-we could use the population boost.
The TurCo Communes are our guest, and so far they have been friendly and show no sign of attempting a PTO. I've messaged one of their members and he was very polite and grateful.
Besides, who needs Canaan when we have Ireland? It's too hot there anyways!
Actually, You are wrong. Its 35-50 not 50+...getyourfactsrightpleaseandedit kkthxbai
At last I'm not homesick any more. I saw the same prejudice and implied racism in the whole article.
I am foreign. I came to seek political refugee. I came here politically organized. I came here a communist recruit. I am what you say in that article.
I came here to help this country, and I feel that I have. I am respected by many, in my party and out of it, yet you say that if there were 50 of me, I would be a PTO in the making?
I think you are just looking for something to complain about, and these people are it. You hate communists, you hate foreigners, and you hate opposition.
Of course you protest. I would expect all communist hating Irish nationalist.
Heindrich, you are none of the points I listed, besides #4. Being an eCommunist. You know that.
JGutenburg, haha, I don't intend to join a party anytime soon. I've been around for a very long time, I'm semi-retired, and being independent - I have the absolute freedom to call the shots as I see them. As I have no agenda. It feels great in that seat, actually.
And how can you prove this?
How can you prove they are what you think they are? All I see here is the biased words of a bigot.
That's a lovely word to use, mate. Did Sue put you up to it?
The only assumption I make is point #6, Heindrich, and this is based upon history and a very basic understanding of natural politics.
More to the point: how could it be proven otherwise?
Dont scare my boy ... We'll not destroy your country we came here to live
Just about as xenophobic a statement as could ever be made...
Don't worry, it's common among English-speakers...
A bit much, Rhindon.
Understand the concern, but let's see what happens before making accusations, huh?
G.
I haven't seen anything negative from a single Turkish citizen who's moved here yet, also as a leader of the IFP I have no problem if they all join labour, they could do well as Irish citizens, leave them be.
"We accept immigrants, we give shelter to refugees, we do tolerate their views" Bahahahaha
You could take this from a BNP handbook 😛
If the MoImm accepts them as being decent honorable citizens then why would we not accept their political views?
"You could take this from a BNP handbook 😛" X2
Lord Rhindon... people have enough dislike of you here already... there is no need for you to start being a racist.
Lord rhindon makes a valid point, but as usual all the crap comes out bigot,racist,bnp....come on people, 50 people all from the same country coming here on the invatation of one political party that hasnt done as well as it has hoped and needs the support...
I wonder if 50 members of a far right party were invited what would you all say....
OMG 🙁 everything and everyone move against us 🙁 This is terrible 🙁
There is no way for us to have fun playing this game 🙁 There is no way to show how we can be helpful for hospitality of some people 🙁
Thank you Lord Rhindon for your racist behavings
And if you good at maths, you can see how many people we are. 🙁 actually we were more than 50 people in eTR. But we have been separated by this kind of fascist people. Now we don't want anymore to face an aggression like that.
This was my last comment on this article. i don't want to dirty this article anymore 🙁
Thanks
Racism is bad.
This is my only comment on this article. Because there aren't anything except Racism in this article.
i fully support what u said Rhindon,
This is wrong LR. I'd suggest you to take this down.
Ireland needs citizens, any citizens we can get are welcomed by me and I'm sure by many others. I'm not an RL Irish citizen, should I be allowed? I don't speak Irish Gaelic, should I be allowed?
And you need to look at these TurKo guys. They're releasing articles saying they'll fight with us, plan with us, and work with us. They're obviously not a PTO if they're publicly releasing articles and letting their numbers known. Only a few are requesting citizenship.
"We accept immigrants, we give shelter to refugees, we do tolerate their views." You say this and then contradict it with what you say directly under it. You're saying we shouldn't accept them, we shouldn't give them shelter, and that we shouldn't tolerate their political views.
"Genuine, widespread concern within Ireland" Sorry, can you direct me somewhere to back this up? I see no legitimate articles, no forum posts saying any concerns, it only seems like you're the one doing the concerning.
You just went way down in my book LR, and this article earns you an unsubscribe.
While you do bring up some valid points that have run through my head as well, as Conor said they are 50 active and willing fighters that want to join us. This is a nice opportunity for a country our size and I don't think it would be wise to pass it up. As MoImm I've talked with quite a few of them and they are trustworthy.
For those pulling the racist card, please stop. It is a really legitimate point. I understand that some of you speak English and you plan on translating for your comrades but you can only do that to an extent. A group of mainly non-english speakers will have a challenge in an english speaking country. Therefore, the fact that he brings it up is not because he hates turks, but because he understands that it will be a challenge.
"Racist"
Oops!
lol
I actually misread the bit I quoted there.
I thought it said, "We accept immigrants, we give shelter to refugees, we do not* tolerate their views" Big difference!
I can understand why other political parties and people from other political spectrums would feel threatened, but there's nothing stopping others from recruiting from other countries too.
The Welcoming Irish, Ireland in RL has undergone huge social changes and there's p much no talk of what's in your article. We even have (proper)Foreign members of the Dáil now.
More people speak Polish fluently in Ireland than people can speak Irish. So the scale is not that big of a deal either
Tut Tut ,
Whole article is an insult against very idea of Republic, not to mention Ireland.
I do see the advantage of 50 willing fighters which is a good thing since this is indeed a game based on warring. My opinion on a possible pto is thus. If this group of people come in take over labour and throw BB and the others out of power with their voting balance with their strength then the labour leaders got exactly what they deserved. The non English speaking issue will be a roadblock at times but isn't in my view a deal breaking matter. I do remember that my party EA joined as a group for the core and have been accused of being multis and paying members to join among the many charges leveled to the admins about us(and you accusers know who you are). So I say if they pass the MOI, welcome them and treat them as Celts so tired am I of the constant bickering of who belongs here because of rl nationality or language and who doesn't remember that in a nation of 400 or so active players you have a voice that can be heard. Look around at the eWorld there are parties that are bigger than our whole listed population. Its time to start acting like the welcoming people we claim we are and accept whomever comes in peace to us.
I will join this PTO 🙂
For the Phoenix!
We are not enemy of your idendity and culture. We are respect your culture and idendity.

Just so everyone knows... the members of Turco were not invited by Brian Boru.
They spoke to friends of the Labour Party asking where they could find a strong socialist movement that would be willing to accomodate them.
Myself, Brian Boru and Orangejuicemmm, chatted at length with them and decided that their coming to Ireland would be beneficial to everyone here. Establishing their community they said was a short term aim, along with earning respect from the eIrish people. They said "Maybe in the future we could try and get one congressman elected". This is in the future, it is a long term goal once they are fully settled and I doubt it could be recognised as a PTO especially if it is only one citizen.
John Smith 2k9 a well known idiot says that he fully supports what Rhindon says. It would be impossible for me to describe JohnSmith 2k9 in character, intelligence or aptitude... I dont think there is any existing word that steps up to this plate. The closest thing I can think of is moron.
I think you need to learn the concept of bring Irish Lord Rhindon.
