On day 911 the "Libertarian Party" goes further as the "Independent Party".
We want to bring a new sound to the political spectrum of the United Netherlands.
A strong and determined voice on which the people of our country can rely on.
We want to protect personal freedom, social justice and democratic values; to make a healthier and friendlier nation.
We urge you to join our party, and help out to make our country great.
´How can I help´ you might ask yourself?
Join the party, and let´s exchange ideas on our private forum how to make this country fair and just for all!

quite enticing I must say!

Nice logo idd
the bird or the letter one?
Everything is cool ;P
Nice!
new name, but whats the difference between you guys and the libertarian party?
Politically there isn't much differance.
But we are focusing more on practical solutions to solving economic problems as well as starting up some projects that are going to benefit the country.
Therefor independent opinions and help is required in the effort to develop the country.
Or so thats what we want. We need a lot more help from other people before this can become a reality.
well, first lesson is: listen to the citizens in the country.

Artemlvanov, you don't have all the results we used to decide our name change.
3 votes were held, 1 before, a public vote and one after the PP elections.
So first lesson, don't make assumptions.
sounds good Mr bell
artem, the public vote was actually a boost for this name, since no-one voted for the other contester ´real politik´.
And the party was about 50-50 divided over realpolitik vs. independent
We can assume people are sortof conservative when it comes to change... but sometimes it must be done.
Bums want change 🙁
@ Daniel and Markus,
Feel free to change your name, that's not my point.
But for the outsider it was a bit strange to see a clear poll, and after that a name change, without a clearification in the article where this change is based on🙂
I really hope you will become more active as party again, as party politics seems to be dead. See you on the debate🙂
I think all the new logos and the reforms look excellent, and I say that as someone who really liked the old logos of the old Libertarian Party.
Renaming the party is a good step too, the Libertarian Party was beyond repair (to a large extent, my fault) and needed this kind of urgent change. The name "Independent Party" preserves the spirit of the party I reformed as well.
I completely support and endorse these changes.
ik ben sinds vandaag lid van deze partij en hoop hier nog lang lid van te blijven
@Thomas Fairfax, don´t be hard on yourself, you have definitely put enough into the party.
@briepe Welcome! hope you like it!
To be honest, I think this article really does not say anything of interest/ importance. A party that promote personal liberty and tries to make the nation etc really tells me nothing, as all other parties try to do the same (at least they say that). I am also interested in knowing what you mean by social justice as well. I hope your next article will offer us a clear difference (besides just the name) of that of the LSD, GLD, I&W etc.
Regardless, good luck and I wish the IP and yourself well.
Konrad this was just a simple notification announcing our change in name. We didn't want to over flood people with our ideologies.
One of our main standpoints is that we express our parties independent opinions and if a member of our party comes up with a good idea then we will stand strong with that idea. Unlike other parties where if a member comes up with a good idea, but it is right-winged as opposed to left-winged then their idea will be scraped, even if it would help benefit the country.
Unlike other parties we are also working on a number of projects, practical politics. Other parties just debate and vote on small issues. We are going straight to practical work, helping out small companies for minimum wage or foreign advertising in the effort of creating a babyboom.
You can find these projects published here, a few days ago:
