On March 5, Iranian mayor of Yazd, [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/profile-70671.html]Shahanshah[/a], brought bribery charges against English mayor of Leeds, [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/profile-12821.html]tessio[/a], in his newspaper, [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/company-13951.html]The Power of Iran[/a], and in [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/forum-topic-13501.html]a subject in the News forum[/a]. Shahanshah cited both the [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-121091.html]article from his paper [/a]and Iranian citizen [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/profile-70191.html]Zeyton[/a]’s article from [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/company-13851.html]Zeyton Zeyton Zeyton[/a] in the topic.
Shahanshah’s article reads:
Shadowukcs get government support when others get nothing
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
"Shadowukcs who lives in the britian keeps getting more and more money from different organisations and kaleb himself..
where does kaleb get the money? from the government account?
Why does these government organisations just give money to shadowuk?
Donation list so much money given to him from different organisations and kaleb:

Small company with 3 employees almost no sales but still 50 gold!

It seems like someone is favoring some here. the government of uk are supporting their own party members and friends while leaving others in the dust
bad move uk!
the people will find out and crush you, just like we will crush britian!”
And Zeyton’s article says:
tessio takes bribery
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
“ZEYTON UK citizen and mayor tessio has been caught taking bribes in his region to lower teh housing tax for the house owners.
Who have given the bribery is for now unknown however this message is from a group of citizens in UK that fights for corruption in the government
After trying to contact tessio we were faced with offensive words ‘fuck you sand lover’
We will try to contact the government of UK to see their statement on this.”
There were was no follow-up to these accusations, and all were desputed by both English and international citizens alike. Most users agree that this was a simple troll attempt; and Iranian users wondered why they chose to accuse British officials of corruption while many of Iranians are fed up with their own president, Koroush. Zeyton has since deleted the article from his history.
I asked tessio what he made of the accusations. He had this to say:
“lol this is so funny...
no i did not accept bribes, if you read my [a url=http://www.erepublik.com/article-87521.html]statement in my newspaper[/a] that i would lower business taxes to nothing and housing taxes you would know that i wouldn"t need a bribe to lower the taxes because i said i would do so anyways.
i have never ever received money for a loan but i had been preparing to take steps to take one out in january but i felt the market was too saturated for it to pay off.
lol i really laughed when i read the thread. Koroush or someone in iran wants to stir up trouble for me after teh heated debate about koroush stealling gold from the iranian treasury.”
Most agree that this was a coordinated troll attempt, but one has to wonder: what kind of corruption is possible in the eRepublik world? What will it take to convince Admins of the offenses? What kind of punishment will they receive, if any? And how much power do the trolls have over the serious users?

Eh, you forget some links at the end?... Hmm, never heard of this tessio guy. But of all things, bribery isn\'t too high on my list of concerns here in eRepublik. There\'s usually nothing to be gained from it.
lol I knew I\'d forget that last part.
tessio is pretty active on the forums, and he got banned last week with Kouroush for making up false charges(\"trolling\"). http://www.erepublik.com/forum-topic-13032-70.html -8th page
Sounds good to me. The admins don\'t get every troublemaker in the game, but at least they drop these big-time annoyances.
I really doubt Kaleb\'s done anything illegal. He knows how to make kosher money. Leave him out of all this 😉
>Kouroush for making up false charges(\"trolling\")
Internet: srs business.
Oh my God.
Koroush and his cult members have become so famous around the world but unfortunately it is all negative.
Wasn’t just recently Koroush was ordering the world that accusations without proof should be punishable by the Admins? So I guess we have to see if Koroush is going to report one of his own cult members (Shahanshah) to the Admins (I wouldn’t hold my breath though).
Clearly this article was just made up to flame Iran and Iranians and the traitor Izirbat who lives in USA gladly enjoy going against Iran.
Fact: I told Zeyton to remove it and I told everyone to not argue with them.
Fact: People are not sick nor tired of me. It\'s just three-four people who have personal problems with me from another forum and they brought it into this game
Fact: There is no way you can prove tessio didn\'t get bribery.
Fact: This is old.
I hope you don\'t call this unbiased, you are very biased and the only purporse doing this was to defend tessio.
Fact: your guy accused me of getting government funds when it was clear that they where loans.
Grow up Emerick.
@ shadow:
Sorry I didn\'t contact you, but you were there to defend yourself. I probably should\'ve put that in there.
@Koroush:
Fact: This wasn\'t made to flame Iranians. It was a scandal that broke out that I thought was interesting.
Fact: I never said that people are sick and tired of you. I\'m just going on what I\'ve seen on the forums and Iranian newspapers. Yeah, it\'s not EVERYONE, but it\'s enough to notice, and I actually made that comment because of a comment in that topic.
Fact: Maybe not, but there\'s evidence to back up his story. It seems to hold together.
Fact: k let\'sa drop it
argh! once again koroush trys to pick an argument, having been banned twice i cannot take this to the forums.
if you really want to know koroush stole money and i went on about it so he doesn\'t like me. que the rumor mill of iran producing absurd things about me taking bribery even though each region receives funds from a central government which means we have no need for a business tax or housing tax.
I like Emerick's style. I think he is destined for greatness.
