Congratulations everyone. The moving ticket price is now back to normal. This is about a fortnight after the battles which culminated in Australia's battle to gain back WA from Indonesia.
The weapon price spiked from day 885 with the phoenix counter-attack battles in europe, then the moving ticket price spiked on day 888. WA was back in possession on day 890.

Today's Q4 weapon price is about the price of a Q5 weapon before the battle. The Q5 price has risen about 20 AUD. This graph shows what the weapon price was like before and during the battles. Comparing it with today's you can see that all weapon prices are higher.

Q5 food is still spiking and then dropping a bit. Now Q4 and Q3 food are also rising a little.
In the absence of another explanation, I'll assume that people's stock of high-quality food is starting to run out since the last price drop, and they are forced to buy more to keep up their wellness. I know I am.
It may be that the price is dropping slowly as people still have stock and, maybe after noticing the price is lower, people are all replenishing their stock at the same time making the price spike higher.
