Why create an opposition party?

Day 898, 18:13 Published in Czech Republic Czech Republic by Frank Zafka

A new project was begun today upon the announcement of Vit Ruzicka's election to President. The Czech Young Liberals have been renamed Czech Phoenix Liberals in order to give voters a clear choice for leadership in upcoming elections.

Before I continue, I want to congratulate Vit Ruzicka on his victory. He will make a fine president and work hard for the Czech people. I support him and his presidency -- though I disagree with some of his political views. This is the basis of political discourse. I disagree with him, but I respect him.

Impeachment achieves NOTHING but to open old wounds. Congressmen, I urge you to vote against the impeachment law.

It's time we elevated the level of political discourse in this nation, and a strong opposition party will do exactly that. We will represent the minority voters and give them a voice, but we will do so in a way that honors Czech sovereignty and the rule of law.

Offering a differing view innervates the czech citizenry. Look how alive the nation became as we struggled for survival! A citizen needs this kind of action in order to stay active in the game! If we can provide continued political drama, epic debates over litigation, military maneuvers, the economy, then we provide continued entertainment.

After all, this is a game. A game that imitates life. All democratic governments have opposition/minority parties that struggle for supremacy. In order to add to the game play, so too should the eCzech Republic have a true opposition: not puppet parties run by interests outside of our nation, but true opposition run by long time eCzechs.

We've chosen the name Czech Phoenix Liberals because that is what clearly defines us as an opposition. We do not support EDEN, not after the destruction they caused in recent months. We understand how hard it is for Slovakians to support Phoenix after the Hungarian war, but Phoenix representatives defended the Czech Republic against PTO and helped get us back on our feet.

I don't expect Vit and his supporters to change their minds and start pushing for Phoenix membership, but they can respect our opinion and still work with us to continue improving the Czech Republic.

We agree on so much else!
Baby boom! NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!
Czech Economy -- Improved with BABY BOOM! And then we move forward with more plans for economic stimulation.
Training War -- a TW that doesn't hurt the czech economy is essential for babies to stay interested and grow.

This is what I hope we can all work together to improve. The Czech Phoenix Party is Pro-Phoenix and Anti-Unification. We are Capitalist and Liberal. We support Czech Sovereignty above all else -- by that we mean the eCzech citizens' ability to decide their own fate as a nation.

Join us!
