123rd Constitutional Congress Delegation
Gnilraps
The basis of our political systems is the right of the People to make and to alter their Constitutions of Government. But the Constitution which at any time exists, until changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole People is sacredly obligatory upon all.
-George Washington
We of the Constitution Party believe that the Constitution of our Government is “sacredly obligatory upon all”. It is the document which generations of eUS Citizens have argued about, fought for, and Codified for the benefit of the “whole People”.
It is the very respect we have for this Constitution that drove our Party Delegation, last term, to oppose a Speaker of the House who did not understand his office nor make any concerted effort to grow into it. I was not thrilled, personally, that the fight over his removal got so ugly, as I like Jimmy Cincinatti and my relationship with him degraded considerably over it. But I am quite proud about how our Party first gave him a chance (once he was elected), but then pursued the legal process to vote ‘No Confidence’ in him as Speaker.
We were correct and the record shows it.
It is also due to the respect we have for this Constitution that motivated our Party to react to the Mark Matters situation. Because we treat alleged threats to our Nation’s Sovereignty seriously, the entirety of our Party voted to compel him to reveal what he knew and what his sources for information were. As it turned out, his information was poppycock and his source a liar. And given the fact that we ended up shortly thereafter in a serious conflict with eCroatia, it is quite good that we were able to dispense with that rumor. The entire affair could have interfered with a legitimate war.
We were correct and the record shows it.
When a Congressman wanted the Congressional Budget Office to inadvertently disclose classified information, our Party delegates voted to block it. We lost that fight. And because we do want Congress to have information as needed, we then proposed and passed a legislation that codifies how information can be declassified for Congress. Once again, I am proud of our Party and how we sought out legal and legislative answers to sticky problems.
We were correct and the record shows it.
Why am I reviewing these things?
Because I am asking you to cast your vote in favor of our next delegation to Congress.
Our Party is slating a very capable group of Constitutionalists. We, like every other Party, have our big personalities and our quiet lurkers. We’ve got our deeply experienced members and we’ve got our relative newcomers. Mostly, we’ve got a respect for the Constitution of the United States, and I think our entire delegation would agree with the words of George Washington which I will reprint here:
“The basis of our political systems is the right of the People to make and to alter their Constitutions of Government. But the Constitution which at any time exists, until changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole People is sacredly obligatory upon all.”
Please cast your vote for the Constitution Party slate for Congress.
We are working on several pieces of Legislation that we intend to introduce that we hope will continue to invigorate our community to increased activity and fun.
Our list order has not yet been set, but these are the Constitutionalists we’d like your help sending to the 123rd Congress:

I joined eRA, eRepublik Anonymous, but fell off the wagon.
haha Welcome back!
Nice to see Pfeiffer active with other accounts!
You have to hand it to him, his ability to manage all those emails, VPNs, and PayPal accounts, click through them all incessantly, AND ignore the game for hours on end while he streams is quite impressive.
Ever heard about scripts, idiot?
Using them 3 times a month in elections isn't time consuming a all.
