Xavier Griffith for Feb/Mar Senate

My Fellow eAustralians,

Yes, its me, old XG again.

Once again, I'll be running for the Senate over the Feb / Mar period and I hope you will once again consider my actions in the Senate as profitable for the Country.

While I understand the military had some issues, I've worked closely with CiC Cerb to try to overcome some of the ridiculous shortfalls that have occurred by the Cabinet this term and thankfully we got them the money they needed to continue to operate.

I know that some wont like my last proposal in the Senate in relation to the raising of Taxes, but our country needs to continue to operate and hopefully this will give it a bit of an economic push and hand over the next few months so that they can be lowered again.

Most of the old members of eAustralia would know this is completely out of character for me, I'm not one for raising taxes and would only support it if the need was real and urgent. I believe that it is. I also believe that with the current Alliance and our step out into the big global eworld, that we need the extra funding for our military. We are making leaps and bounds with our allies in relation to what we can do, and that's a good thing that should be continued, but by the same token we need to work on watching our spending and increasing the country economy and treasury in case we need it in an emergency.

My political Motto has always been "Keep the Bastards Honest" and I continually strive to do that. I ask you to once again Vote for Xavier Griffith at the next eAustralian Senatorial Election on the 25th February, and I assure you once again that I will "Keep the Bastards Honest".
