The Battle Against RL Has Been Won!

Day 819, 18:08 Published in Philippines Philippines by Keegan Knoll

(It wasn't really RL.... I was just staring at this woman the whole time I've been busy...)

Over the last few days, a lot has been going on. It's been a hectic week, and at the same time, the evil, vile creature known as RL has been beating down my door. however, as always, I have remained valiant in my efforts to repel this vicious beast, and here I am, my feet firmly on the eGround. From this point out, and for the remainder of my ePresidency, I will be able to run things smoothly, and without much more interruption from the evils of RL and AFK.

While I was busy fighting the monster of RL, I did not have the ability to use my laptop as often as I'd have liked, which cut my IRC time nearly in half. (By the way, you should all join IRC. It's irc.rizon.net, channel #philippines) I could only access eRep through my lovely wonderful phone, but it is not IRC capable, which limited my ability to plan some of the maneuvers through China with the others involved. For this, I would like to thank SoulSalvage for serving as a connection between the IRC, and my battleground against RL. Because we can communicate outside of the game, he was able to relay messages to me, and greatly assist what could otherwise have been a painful, or at the very least, annoying, process. Over the last three days or so, he has become the closest thing to a VP that I have had this term. As such, I would like to appoint him to the position of Vice President. However, as many know, SoulSalvage is somewhat of a special case in the Philippines, due to the situation he caused shortly after his arrival in the country. As such, I would like to ask for the overall opinion of the public, before I carry out this decision. Please let your opinion be known here, in the comments section. Or, if you would rather let me know personally, you can do it via PM. If accepted, Soul has agreed to re-obtain ePhilippine Citizenship. He will not have any access to organization accounts.

Our tanks on the front lines of battle.

Now, on to other matters. In the war between Russia and China, our occupation of China for blocking purposes has persisted. We have, however, withdrawan some regions, and may, in the coming weeks, remove ourselves from Chinese territory entirely. As such, I am hoping to begin shifting our focus from defending our allies in war, to more internal issues, such as keeping our economy stable as we can, and working to look for that all-powerful babyboom of our dreams.

Speaking of Babies, Congressman Jootli has begun a program hoping to help ePhilippine's babies stay active and interested. It can be found here. Please vote it up and if you are new, feel free to participate, and win prizes!

I guess that'll be all for today's update, citizens.
Over and out,
President Keegan
