Xavier Griffith for Senate

Day 795, 01:14 Published in Australia Australia by Xavier Griffith

My Fellow eAustralians,

Yes, its me, old XG.

I've been out of politics for some time now, some for my own reasons and some not, but either way, I've watched some of the most ridiculous things going on in the Senate and Government over the past 3 months and decided that its time to attempt to get back in. For those interested, I'm running in my usual State, Victoria.

Many of the Old players will know me. The newer ones wont, so a bit about my Political experience:

7 Terms as a Senator:
2 Terms as the Speaker; and
1 Term as the Deputy Speaker.

1 Term as Inspector General.

3 Terms in Cabinet:
1 as Cabinet Secretary to Prime Minister Cottus Arci;
1 as founding Minister of Information to Prime Minister Patti11; and
1 as Deputy Prime Minister to Patti11.

1 Term as a Knesset Member of the eIsraeli Knessest.

I'm the Founding Member of the Australian Independents, created to give those that want their voices heard without having to tow a party line to still involve themselves in Australian Politics.

My Politics centre around what I believe is best for the Nation and its Citizens. Both my supporters Advocates and my Opponents know me to be outspoken and active on the Senate floor (forums). What do I support and not support:

1. Full transparency of the Government for the most part, however I do believe and accept that some things are too sensitive for immediate release at the time. This belief extends not just to the Senate, which of late has become exceptionally transparent, but to the Executive Government (The Cabinet). This I'm glad to say has come about finally, the new Parliament Section on the Forums is working really well and so is the Public Gallery, allowing Citizens to speak directly to their elected members.

2. I'm a strong supporter of local markets and the ABA (Australian Business Association) in its endeavour to ensure that the market is competitive. As one of the Founding members of the ABA its good to see that it is still going.

3. Australia’s Strong Defence Force Policies, and the Backing and assistance by the Government to assist eAustralia’s Defence Force to continue to grow and increase in strength, experience and ability.

4. Acceptance and Support of the EDEN Alliance with the people of our great nation voted we enter.

5. Was open to friendly Relations with eIndonesia, until they forced the most disgusting agreement upon Prime Minister Cerri, and then breach the thing themselves. The Indonesians will need to do some serious sweet talking before that trust is restored. Even though they claim we breached our own agreements, its well known within the Country that the Indonesian's breached it months before hand.

My Political Motto has always been “Keep the Bastards Honest” and I continually strive to do that. I ask you, to please Vote for Xavier Griffith at the next eAustralian Senatorial Elections on the 25th September, and I assure you, I will “Keep the Bastards Honest”
