After much deliberation and agonizing debates between the members of this party - we have come to the conclusion that the party formerly known as Democratic Action Party (DAP) must be given a new make-over to reflect the changes in eMalaysia demographic as well as the rejuvenation undergoing within the party internally. Importantly, as a whole, the party does not wish to be associated with any RL element - and hence free us from any RL constraints or advantages. With that, herein, i proudly present to you...
Democratic People's Party (DPP)
Introduction

DAP has been a successful political party in the formative years of eMalaysia - including a 5 terms consecutive run at the Country Presidency. Over this period, DAP has grown to be the biggest political party in eMalaysia (till Oct 2009), sponsored the construction of the first Q5 hospital in eMalaysia, mentored/assisted hundreds of newbies and contributed immensely to the socio-economy development of eMalaysia. It is from these great ashes, rises Democratic People's Party (DPP).
DPP shall be the bearer of democracy in eMalaysia. DPP will stand for liberal people's democracy in its true essence. We strongly support accountable, transparent and communicative government. DPP shall be the government strongest supporters as well as critics. The patriotism of DPP members shall be unquestionable!
DPP Policies Statement (brief)
► Social - Citizens and newbies are the asset of the nation. DPP supports wellness program and govt-run training companies to help the growth of our citizens. DPP supports vibrant political, media and irc/forum discource, activities and communication.
► Education/Training - Towards an organised and structured forum-based education and mentoring systems. Training wars and population shifting to Peninsular Malaysia are critical to the education system.
► Military - Organised elite/mobile and defence battalions with established chain of command. Reserve funding for critical battles and moderate funding for
► Economy- Minimal intervention and tax distortions. Fiscal prudence and small government. Supportive of regulative monetary policy to maintain stable exchange rate.
► Foreign Affairs - Foreguarding the neutrality of eMalaysia. More active involvement in the Sol alliance. Diplomacy towards building trust and rapport with all and in particularly building lasting peace with our neighbours.
► Immigration - Encouraged migration of experienced citizens and structured citizenship process. DPP supports the idea of eMalaysia as a safe neutral haven for citizens of the eWorld who wants a peaceful country to live in.
► Multiculturalism - DPP values the diversity of its membership and the diversity of eMalaysia. DPP does not discriminates RL or e-World nationalities.
DPP Congress Representatives
It has been a tradition of DPP (DAP) in providing active and knowledgeable congress representatives that have served our nation wells. DPP congress representatives were also known for their generous contribution of the congress medal gold to the states. DPP also often fields a healthy mix of experienced hands like former Country Presidents and Minister, and eager new citizens. In coming days, DPP will also enforces a stricter congress candidate selection and training - in such - only the best eMalaysians shall represent You - the People in the Congress.
DPP Internal Organisation
For those of you who have been following the progress of this planned rejuvenation, you would know by now that DPP intends to be different from DAP not just by its name. DPP in coming days will establish a more formalised form of party internal organisation that would assist us in forming leadership and administrative continuity. Several party positions will be established and if you are interested in furthering your involvement in the national politics / eRepublik - DPP is a good place to start! If you have keen and willing to learn - DPP is looking for you and we will be wiling to invest our time/energy to mentor you further in this game.
In recent weeks, DPP has grown from strength to strength - thanks to the work of our hardworking members. We have seen new and active members admist our ranks - questioning the status quo, giving good and valuable ideas, making the awesome logos presented in this article and many more. The change is not just the name, my dear party colleagues. The change is real... and the spirit of DPP once again helps our citizens to find their place in eWorld.

you are not a dpp member..so using WE is pointless. btw. dpp is a Center, Libertarian party as you can find on the party page.
we at the dpp believe in the democratic way of social organisation. that is our deepest basic, our strongest fundament.
we are party for those people who believe in democracy

democracy doesn't go with communism. i think the RL americans gotta disassociate everything with "people's" as communism. Many european nations have "people's" i their govt too.
