As of posting, government org passwords have not yet been transferred from Dokomo to me at my request; I will conduct the transfer via IRC when we are both online so that there is no lag time in the password change (a security precaution, necessary in light of the last changeover). I will update this when the passwords are changed.
ISP Headquarters in Neo-Tokyo, Kanto region prepares for a major election
Imperial Sun Party Presidency
As promised, if elected country president of our fine eRepublik, I will continue the tradition of Dokomo, Oraizan, and Minamoto of governing as an independent and step down as party president of the Imperial Sun Party. Elections are coming up quickly on January 15th.

eHungarians
It has come to my attention that a number of high-rank, high-strength eHungarians received citizenship approvals shortly before the election. I am investigating this, and I suspect Koppanyi Ferenc is involved with it. While I do not yet have conclusive proof, I strongly discourage the creation of private armies which might operate counter to the [orders] of the government. Recently, we have encountered well-equipped armies fighting unauthorized before in eJapan, particularly the resistance wars last month, and generally speaking, it undermines the credibility of the government. This is one reason why, despite knowing him and working alongside him in eJapan for more than six months, I have not only declined to offer him any place in government, but the former Secretary of the Army will not be accepted into, nor funded by, the JIA.
It is unfortunate that for many eJapanese, old loyalties die hard. I remain committed to the creation of a strong and independent eJapanese state. If any of the eHungarians runs for congress, I will instruct the JEC and party presidents to oppose their candidacies. As for the eHungarian that I approved on December 24th before leaving congress, he indicated to me an interest in real life Japan as well as staying in eJapan long-term.
Someone put together a nice list of the "suspected phoenix plants" here:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AmJbljwVBL7hdGJPbkU1emFJTDdvd0E4dnFwM0plcUE&hl=en
The list contains a few errors, such as Sohfeeuh (edit: she has been removed from the list) and rikugun hare, a former eJapanese member of congress. Godzilla Party members should remember him as the candidate who was defeated by Godzilla Party candidate suzuki22 (ISP is not the only party that gets lousy members of congress who are banned for "multis"😉
in the August Congressional Elections. However, the Office of Immigration will investigate the others to determine their actual intent.

Voted!!! Congrats!
Can I be on the suspected Phoenix plants list?
Not commenting and/or passing judgment on the specific issue at hand, but generally speaking loyalty is the fabric that holds this nation together and makes it the unique pillar of righteousness it is. Therefore, it isn't something 'unfortunate', but rather a blessing, in most cases.
Of course they said they had an interest in eJapan you dolt. Koppanyi is going to take the fall just like Walorm did it looks like.
万歳!
Thanks for the address Kita! There still remain several suspicious people on this list, but if it is about the buying and moving of votes it just solidifies how bad the political situation of the country is.
@ Kokawayoshi Makoto - I agree that loyalty to your country is a good thing, I merely point out that sometimes immigrants come without their new country's best intentions in mind. That is something I will always oppose.
I misunderstood your comment then, thanks for clearing it up. 🙂
Care to explain Blato Peter, then, KITA? You personally approved him, and he's a Hungarian FM in the military that moved to Russia.
Congrats!
He can't defend Blaho Peter without looking incompetent or dishonest. The bare minimum of due diligence shows someone with strong ties to Hungarian military organizations and PTO units.
Please post this article in Hungarian so all of your friends can read it.
some people are paranoid are really paranoid these days. my congressional picks have been removed from the suspicious list, but they were on there earlier. none of my approvals were hungarians, all of them were frenchies. please get your facts straight before slandering the president.
Ten Thousand Years! Finally a new dawn of hope for eJapan
Ten thousand years!
I would love to troll this article, but I can see that so many of the nice people above have already done it for me.. How sad.
"Godzilla Party members should remember him as the candidate who was defeated by Godzilla Party candidate suzuki22 (ISP is not the only party that gets lousy members of congress who are banned for "multis"😉 in the August Congressional Elections."
What does this even have to do with anything remotely relevant? We can't block every single region from having a rogue candidate run in it (I have ensured during my time as PP that not a single rogue has run in a hospital region). There simply aren't enough candidates to fill every region. You could have sent enough votes to get rikugun hare elected, but you didn't.
