Citizens of the ass-kicking almighty eAustralia,

Man am I honoured and glad to be back as your leader! I've gotta tell you though, I didn't expect such a margin (and yes, it's only ~7😵. I figured Timeoin to be the clear favourite, purely on the backing of the three biggest parties. However, I'm glad it panned out the way it did, since feeling like the underdog kept me fighting right though to the end, and most importantly... never before in eAustralia have I seen such voting habits that were contradictory to party line.

I believe this is of huge importance - after smooth sailing early on, party politics got pretty damn ugly and clearly we've seen evidence our voting population is a thinking one, and not slaves to their parties will (I'm sure they've done in the past, but these results are the first real evidence of it).

I've raised the bar and I accept full responsibility - you will see an extraordinary term! I ask that you share my enthusiasm, regardless of your beliefs and we can fully reunite as a nation.

That said, onto business...

Zero Tolerance!
I chose this Cabinet to represent eAustralia. Many of them have feuded over the past few months and even recently. However eAustraila, I will be enforcing a (close to) zero tolerance policy on their behaviour. What's happened has happened, and we can all learn from it. They have been chosen because I think they're good for the job, not because their my buddies. They're in the public spotlight and therefore have a secondary responsibility to remain utterly productive for eAustralia.

That said, they are more than welcome to publicly criticise any of my policies or decisions, as long as they do so in a proper manner and continue working to the best of their ability despite their differing view.

I needed a second dMoFA, as I forsee DoFA will be hugely productive this month. I also needed Cerri in my Cabinet, as I wasn't aware she was available until Timeoin's Cabinet was released. I thought this change would work best, since while Xavier is a gun at Industry, he could suffer from "corny-ratbag syndrome" and his political career could really benefit from a different portfolio than Industry.

I don't need that stinking 5 GOLD
I'm filthy rich... you all know it. It's about time I got a little charitable.

EDEN Referendum
As I declared so strongly in my platform, a vote for Cottus was a strong vote to join EDEN. Now it's time to put that to the test, and as soon as I have the appropriate access, a proposal to join EDEN ill take place in the Senate. If it is successful (by a 66%+ majority), then an immediate public referendum (yes, any eAussie) will be undertaken.

EDEN meets on the 10th to determine potential new members, and eAustralia will be among them. I aim to have Australia in EDEN almost immediately after that.

Military
Of course, for now, until proposed changes are passed through the Senate, the Military will remain as is, spare the minor change in command duties. However, what we can change is this;

Yes, harsh for some... but I see it as this. Dropbears are the ultimate in our military and must be reflected as so. ACUK will be looking forward to increase weapons (better Q, too) as we aim to swell the Dropbear ranks in no time!

Most of all... the great corny-ratbag you'll be sorely missed.

And an honourable mention to Derek Apollyon, the most underrated player in eRepublik. Period.

And of course, my lovely Cristina, who has endured my eRepublik habit for too long already.

Lastly... my condolences to Timeoin & Ezekiel Thomas... I lost my first election too, y'know and who knows... we may see more from you guys just yet!
