Thoughts about the election

As some of you know there is a minor threat of a new political takeover. Over the past time there have been created a large number of what seems to be multi-accounts, and someone fears they might be a part of a PTO team. And those who fear it the most seems to be Teknokratene.

Eris and Reboot came to our channel on IRC with a proposal. They proposed that we run with the same candidate, i.e. supported by both parties. And this time they would vote for our candidate, and the next time we were under threat for a PTO, we would support their candidate. You may think that it doesn't sound like a bad idea, but you're wrong. It is a bad idea. Because they didn't want to support me as the candidate. They made a list of people they don't want as president. They want to chose who's running for both parties, instead of us, the biggest party with the most members and our candidate. They don't want a democratically elected candidate to run for both parties. The five active members of Teknokratene wants to chose themselves. It sounds a bit sceptical if you ask me. If they're so sure that there's going to be a PTO, why would they not want to run with a democratically chosen candidate? Why are they giving up liberty for security?

As Benjamin Franklin said "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Teknokratene clearly shows that they are not acting in the interest of the people, but merely their own political power. They are not interested in democracy, they want to control the elections by themselves and make sure we'll vote for them the next time multis are being made.

So if you plan on voting Teknokratene this election, please don't.


And why even fear another PTO? The Binary Party has the majority of congressmen. Together with other Norwegian parties, we have got the power to take down a hostile president. Why? It's for the greater good and it's in the interest of the people that a president is elected not by cheating, but by the people. And that president's got good intentions for eNorway, unlike a goon.

Even if Tek is afraid of goons and multis, they shouldn't be forced into drastic means such as dictating other parties candidates. Is it really so that they know what's ultimately good for us? Why haven't they done anything the last month? Why should we even give them another month in which they can complain about everything instead of working? There are many questions we can ask ourselves regarding Teknokratene. Just keep in mind that a vote for Teknokratene is merely a vote for unjust and a vote for a worse eNorway. It's up to the readers of this to decide who they want as president.


If you shouldn't vote Reboot nor any other goons, why should you vote for me? First of all, I am not Teknokratene. I'm not going to give away essential liberty, and I'm not scared by goons or other hostile threats. In my first term as president I even managed to make peace with eRussia amongst others. I've been playing for two years now, which have given me an awfully large amount of experience. I believe that each player is of equal value, yet we're all different and let it be like that. The masses cannot be controlled and neither should we try to. I believe in a system where each player and citizen of eNorway should do what suits her or him the best, and a system where we all can express ourselves in the news without suffering retaliation by enemies of liberty. eNorway isn't perfect, and it won't be if Teknokratene is in charge. What we need is a new president, chosen by the people and acts in the interest of the people.

A vote for BP is a vote for a better eNorway. Seeing as we already have put together a cabinet it shows that we're organized. We have experience and we work hard. We don't have to wait 20 days for something to happen, we aren't going to sit back and complain. Complaints are for the weak and those that lack the ability to do something besides working. I won't mention any names, but you know who you are. Instead, we look forward and will begin working from day one. We're ready to begin working for eNorway and for the people. We're ready to show goons what we're made of, and we laugh at their attempts to destroy this great nation.
