Interview with Brian Boru

Day 753, 14:41 Published in Ireland Ireland by LordoIrish
1) So Brian how did you find erep

An advert on politics.ie

2) What kept you in the game during you first days?

The Romanian Occupation of Ireland was in full swing, so hatred of Victor Petrescu really.

3) Who were your first friends?

Igor Thunderbrow & irish_rebel I suspect.

4) How did they help/influence you?

They helped me to found the Irish Volunteer Force. Igor later did his own thing and irish_rebel became Padraig Pearse, though he wasn't scamming people back then.

5) What turned you into such a revolutionary?

I was always a revolutionary; I think I've demonstrated that in every action I've ever taken.

6) What got you into Irish Politics?

Again, the Romanian occupation.

7) Why did you start the IVF?

I needed an outlet to gather people of a similar ideology together, not only as a party, but as a flexible group. So I merged two existing paramilitary groups with similar aims.

😎 How much time did the IVF take and why did you but so much work into it

The core manpower was already there, I merged the two organisations that had the people into one group, and assumed command.

9) You have been on erep since day 267 what have you learned since then

A lot, probably too much to state without an article of its own...

10) You been playing more than a year why have you not earned an hard worker medal

I tend to go away places where there is no internet access for a day or two every month, so I always end up missing a day.

11) What was your first congress run like, what were your reasons for running?

My first congress run was the ousting of the Romanians from the Dáil, and in that term, I gave a large contribution to the then proposed Constitution. Pretty much the entirety of my contribution was adopted later, while I was in exile.

12) Why do you think you won?

I won because we were finally regaining control of the country.

13) Why do you think you have been elected 4 times into congress?

A bit of luck, high visibility and some different policies, I guess.

14) Do you see yourself becoming President of our nation?

Hopefully, though obviously I won't be holding my breath.

15) What would you like to see done in Ireland

Again, asking what I'd like to see done requires an article of its own. Hell, a whole series of articles. I suppose two phrases demonstrate key interests of mine: Northern Ireland & Change.

16) Who would you say are you political heroes/idols?

Don't really have any.

17) Who are you best friends

I have plenty of friends, so I don't like the concept of "best" friends.....

1😎 Do you have any enemies?

I have plenty of enemies as well, though I find them more amusing than threatening.

19) Why did you start the 10 Minute Revolutions?

I was going to college and thought I'd have no time to play. I turned out to be dead wrong.

20) Did it really start of as a joke or was that a cover up

It was a planned joke. I would have done it even if I had won the election, due to the reasons stated above. Let me put it this way, if it wasn't a joke, why did I even bother to return to gold? I had nothing to lose at that point.

21) What did you think of the reaction when you gave the treasury back?

Annoying, but to be expected. I had just "borrowed" the funds of the state after all. I still think people overreacted massively, but I understand their initial anger very well.

22) Do you see yourself staying in eIreland for the rest of you eLife

I intend to stay in Ireland for the foreseeable future; the rest of my eLife is a bit long for me to speculate on really.

23) Would you like to say anything else to our readers?

Nothing more to say really: D

So there we have it and interview with Ireland's biggest rebel , i hope you have enjoyed reading
