Congrats to all new members of Parliament!
I would like to say that the attempts by the Associates of General Wellness to try and knock me out of congress out of pure spite is a shameful act and despicable.
Know that this crime against democracy will not be forgiven, nor forgotten by myself, the African National Alliance, nor any supporter of freedom, dignity, and democracy.
It is pretty pathetic that the AGW could only get 10% congress. The same percentage ANA got despite AGW being 3x as large. Perhaps if they worried more about politics rather than knocking other politicans down out of spite they would fare better. I guess the world will never know though...

The Gold party secured a congressional plurality with 45%
The Gold party received a total of 98 votes, despite only having 92 official members. A standard turnout is ~55-60% in eSA, yet Gold managed to bring in 106%. Interesting...
The gold party's top vote getter was tied between Azreal & Robert Reid.
It took 86 votes to get 18 members in congress, giving Gold an efficiency rating of 0.22
The Independent Alternative party secured 22% of congress
The IA party received a total of 69 votes, despite only having 38 registered members.That's a turnout rating of 181%. Very interesting...
The IA's top vote getter was Ines Schumacher.
It took IA 63 votes to get 9 members into congress for an efficiency rating of 0.14
The United South Africa party secured 12.5% of congress
The USA party received a total of 45 votes with a total of 71 members in the party. That's a turnout rating of 63%. An uncorrupt and above average percentage. Great job!
The USA's top vote getter was Little Missy. An incumbent who did not particpate at all last month.
It took the USA 38 votes to get 5 members into congress for an efficiency rating of 0.13
The African National Alliance secured 10% of congress
The ANA party received a total of 20 votes, having 33 members in the party.. That's a turnout of 61%. An uncorrupt and slightly above average percentage. Well done!
The ANA's tied top vote getters were Atliia & Exilious.
It took 13 votes to get 4 members into congress for an efficiency rating of 0.30
The Associates of General Wellness secured 10% of congress
The AGW party received a total of 52 votes, having 103 members in the party for a turnout of 50%. An uncorrupt, slightly below average turnout.

It took 47 votes to get 4 members into congress for an efficiency rating of 0.08

lol, the other parties got more than a 100% because if you forgot there are other parties that cant put forward candidates SO they vote for other parties THUS it is feasible for a party to get more votes than members...

I am a member of the ADF but I voted for an IA candidate. There are plenty of unaffiliated citizens that vote in the congressionals. Implying corruption is these numbers is simply pathetic.
An attempt to vote you out of congress is not a crime against democracy unless you think you ARE democracy(which in itself is a crime against democracy). Influencing voters and campaigning are legal methods both here and RL.
ADF + Liberal party = only 20 members total. Only half of which are active.

Even in RL a party can receive votes from other party members. Your report is biased an flawed in respect of your comments. It also seems that your members are not fully supporting your policies by the look of it. FAIL!! Your Congressional Numbers article does not get a vote.

I always save my vote for the literal last minute of elections.
Hence why I spent the day posting as my org so that I could watch the vote totals.

I dont tell other members where to vote. I control my own citizen, they control theirs.
Who they vote for and when they vote for them is their own business.
All citizens are free and equal in dignity and rights.

I'm sure you didn't miss the issue I raised, but...
Assuming that more votes than party members reflects shady dealings is silly. There are many in the country who don't belong to a party buy will still vote, even if it is just for the extra experience point.
If that happens and I'm PP, then I would launch an investigation into the matter.
Or multi investigation team does a great job at weeding out cheaters and is responsible for many bannings of people from multiple partys.

@Exilious - you also forget that expatriates (people with eSouth African citizenship residing in other countries at election time) also vote in the SA elections. As per game mechanics, these citizens cannot be a member of the party that they support.

A total of 287 voted, less than 50% of the whole friggin country. Not everyone belongs to a political party. The fact that IA and Gold Party got so many votes is cause we had a great campaign that people noticed and they voted accordingly.
We got everyone in to congress that we wanted. We weren't going to just throw anyone into congress.
