[WTP] Party President First Week Report

Hello dear WTPers!

Thank you for voting me into office last Sunday 🙂 Although I've been Vice Party President a number of times already, this is only my second term as WTP Party President and I am honoured to lead you once again. The current newsletter is a quick recap of what we did in the first week of the current term.


Party President Elections

This is how it all started. It might have been quite confusing for you during the Primary. Cubby campaigned for me, and I was trying to get you to vote for him in the Primary. Finally, I received 14 votes in the Primary, two more than Cubby who had 12. The third pretender, Kalos, only received two votes.

But Cubby didn't drop from the ballot for the actual elections in-game. So, I had another chance to get him elected! However, this spring is very tasks-intense for me so I couldn't pay as much attention to the fun-elections and the result was that Cubby got me elected.

This was fully intentional from both of us and we had agreed that one of us will be PP, and the other - VPP. So the outcome of the elections didn't really change much. On the contrary we had a little bit of fun and hopefully you did too!

This little spectacle should, however, give you a hint. It's only a few of us left in WTP leadership and we need fresh faces. So, if you are interested in this game, feel welcome to message me to get involved with the party! We will be better off with YOU on board!


Congress Applications are now _OPEN_

Well, not for long. We opened them on Monday and messaged everyone over the next few days. Applications are closing today, but here are the links for some last minute candidates:

Apply before noon on Saturday, March 21st!
New applicants are those who haven't been elected into Congress from WTP's ballot in the past six (6) months.

The vacant Director positions are for Political Action, Retention and Media. We are also looking for deputies in any department! Basic game awareness is the only required "qualification".


Whalefare

Whalefare is WTP's Welfare Program. At the moment it is situated on the forums. Every WTP member can post in the thread
and request daily up to seven Q7 tanks and 1,100 energy.
After some difficulties in the weeks so far, we manage to catch up with the requests so far! A sincere thanks goes to Tanishq for taking care of the 127 pending requests the other day. Thank you also to Disco for agreeing to look after Whalefare for the time being 😁


Congress Primary

As usual, the Congress Primary will begin on March 21st (today, Saturday) at 15 o'clock. You can vote at the usual location: http://ereptools.tk/elections/

If you are below level 24, you may not be able to vote. In this case, just drop me a message and if you aren't a multi account I will add you to the list of people allowed to vote 🙂
