[WRP] - Congressional Concerns
Huey George
Ask of Congress and the Country President
Our Congressional representations has already started worryingly for the average UK citizen. Our Congress representation should be our main legislative body, hold the country president to account and ultimately have a tremendous say in how the Country is governed.
However the first we've heard from them is a complaint ". . .our Country President has setup new congress mails WITHOUT including BP, UKPP and Lemon party. . ." and an ultimatum.
By all accounts this "new Congress mail" is just a temporary Congressional mail while the Country President waits on friend requests however;
Setting up the Congressional PMs in my opinion should have never been left to the Country President as their could be some bias from the Country President (not really a surprise consider the recent history between those parties and the CP).
If our elected Members of Congress can't engage each other and the Country President in constructive dialogue about what is best for the UK maybe we need to elect other in their place... insert blatant advertisement for the Workers' Rights Party.
Recently in the UK we've been completely reliant on the Country Presidents to run the country as Congress has been often disorganised with no real ambitions save "rubber stamping" or "passing comment" on plans from whichever citizen was the the Country President.
However saying that I remain a supporter of both Congress and the Country President and on behalf of the rationale proportion of the UK population I ask Congress to better organise itself and re-take the initiative to organise communication amongst themselves and with the Country President by appointing a neutral Speaker of the House and I ask the Country President to make every effort to work with Congress and remain accountable.
You all are elected to represent those of us in the UK without a Congressional vote and to better the UK not engage in partisan politics and lead propaganda campaigns which doesn't do the UK any good.
Who are the Workers' Rights Party?
The Workers’ Rights Party is a political party which strives to see the eUK is full of dedicated, active and well-informed citizens supported by their government. We are dedicated to ensuring equality and enhancing society for all eUK citizens. We trust the people tempered by prudence, this separates us from a lot of the other parties of the eUK who dis-trust the people tempered by fear. At the heart of our party is fairness, free-thinking and creativity.

If I am on my own with my thoughts above or if it's just a case of sour lemons as the WRP lost its top 5 spot and chance to provide Congressional representation please do let me know and I'll return to my quiet life of economic statistics and my strengthening our airforce initiative.
However if like me you'd like to see out Country being better jointly governed by the Country President and Congress please give this article some support.
Thanks for reading

Where does it say the CP has to set up mass messages with all of congress? Surely its up to congress to manage its own affairs...
If the CP wants to have his own PM with a group of congress members to advise him, thats up to him.
"Setting up the Congressional PMs in my opinion should have never been left the Country President " - Huey is agreeing with you and I agree also. Appleby is not at fault, congress is at fault and they should sort themselves out. From my understanding of this article it is a call for more organisation from congress.
Perhaps we need to redo some legislation?
We have legislation?
we should do 😛
no we shouldn't Cotton, this aint 2012 anymore. Legislation is what brought about the mess we currenty have.
It would be fun. You are right about it not working now though, Wayne. I wasn't being entirely serious.
If people want to make a thread with BigAnt et all for "constructive discussion" there's absolutely nothing stopping them
I think the days of us being left to pick up the pieces whilst they play silly buggers with their buttons all month has to end
Impeach this mongrel!
You've only got a week left before you get somebody else in, may as well chill
As I said on BigAnt's article I'm perfectly happy to set a decent PM up once people accept ma friggin friend requests.
CP bias has definitely come into play here, as what I've got from Appleby is he's sick of people being opposition for the sake of being opposition more or less. I can't really comment on how accurate that is 'cause I've been in no PMs and been out of the game until very recently, but no smoke without fire n all that I guess. I've told him it's a poor move but w/e he's not budging and I guess I respect his reasons to a degree.
Congressmen themselves can never really sustain a speaker position for more than a few terms before you hit terms where nobody can be arsed to run for the job and hold votes. Best bet would probably be having an impartial none-congressman permanently hold the role and effectively let him be a law unto himself with the only caveat being "if you don't like this make your own sodding PM", that way either you'll get a guy running it great for months or congress will get so mad they'll sod off and actually organise themselves.
People should have voted for Harambe... Hopefully they won't make the same mistake this month. Zubre4CP
So he's sick of something that he, himself instigated?
fuck if I know I've only been here for a bit of his term
Nah, nothing to do with waiting for friend requests. For example last month he decided to put BP and UKPP members in one messages and all others in another one. Now it seems he went one step further by just excluding the BP and UKPP members, or that is what I've read, because I asked not to be included into these group messages in the future. And now you have two sides that are competing who is a bigger victim in this conflict....
Impeach him
Only a few days of the other guy before another election happens and replaces him anyway #worth
Time to take back our country from the zombie reprobates who have resurfaced to spoil our little community.
I totally agree. It's about time the eUK had some real leadership. That why, this June the 5th, I'll be voting for CptChazbeard!
Please stop moralfagging. Hate will breathe life into the eUK. It is sorely needed. Stoke it, fan it, blow on it but for the love of god, don't let that flame go out!
Huey's right.
The concept of Congress allowing the CP to set up their communications, and then bitching when he doesn't do it to their liking, is laughable.
The CP shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the running of Congress, and he definitely shouldn't be a surrogate Speaker. And Congress shouldn't allow themselves to get into a position where they need the CP to sort their shizz out for them. However, given the state of Congress over the last few months, it's no surprise as they don't seem capable of organising their way out of a paper bag.
Congress:
1. Elect a Speaker.
2. After each Congress election, get your Speaker to organise a new Speaker election.
3. If nobody wants to be Speaker, that's your problem. Sort it out among yourselves.
CPs
1. Step away from internal Congress affairs - let them sort themselves out (if they can).
2. If they have a Speaker, send legislation notifications to him or her, so that he/she can inform Congress however they see fit. If they don't have a Speaker, propose the legislation anyway and write an article. It's up to Congress to discuss things if they want to.
Population at large
1. Stop voting for BP/Lemon and - increasingly - UKPP. They're a waste of fecking time. If you do vote for them, accept that part of the responsibility for the shit they come up with is yours.
Please explain what UKPP have done?
