President Impeachment
Do you want the current president of United Kingdom to end this office?
Sir Humphrey Appleby
I voted No. I'd only vote to impeach our democratically elected country president on grounds of gross incompetence, corruption, inactivity or strong will of the people. As I've seen no evidence of any of these, Appleby, remains the right citizen to lead the UK for the remainder of his term.
As there is still time on this proposal I'd encourage my fellow members of Congress to cast their vote against the impeachment law proposal.
The current votes stands as of 11:30 Day 2,404 of the New World;
9 YES votes to 7 NO votes
Citizenship Applications Approved
MarkTD
I approved Mark's application without question, this former UK citizen is a fantastic guy and the UK is a better place to have him once again more involved in our community in my opinion.
I hope you all join me in welcoming Mark back to the UK.
Closing thoughts
Once again I've hopefully given you an insight into how I've spent my time representing you in Congress. Once again I encourage comment however please let's encourage respect in public dialogue to set a positive example that elevates the quality of politics in our country. This should enable a more intelligent dialogue on public issues to attract all citizens to take part. So I ask you to bear this in mind with your own contributions.
A final note to new citizens please consider completing this Ministry of Finance form if you'd like some of the Emergy Fund Grants (the initial distributed of which will begin soon so keep an eye out for a MoF article...). You can also get food from the NHS if you are below level 30 (and fighting for a main stream UK mu etc.)

Comments
Were it not a Serb sitting in 2nd place I would've gladly voted to impeach our sitting CP, he's been completely inactive.
We have been invaded over the past few days by two countries, yet Appleby has been largely absent from the #MoD war room, and has failed to make sure that the MoD has enough cc in an MU to use Combat Order's.
In addition, we are still yet to see an MPP signed with Germark who are the biggest damage country in the NSPP- I have no idea why this is, but ultimately this is the CP's responsibility.
Valid points Adrastos however I do believe the CP is working very hard in the background.... I'd have like to have seen the CP a little more present and answerable to his electorate (maybe through more article from 10 Downing Street) however I don't carry his mandate so can't know his pressures...
I hope Appleby can manage to win you around before the end of his term.
I'm sorry but absences like http://prntscr.com/3u0h7o from the MoD room a couple of days ago during a crucial phase of our war on two fronts are just inexcusable in my opinion. From what I have been told our signing of MPPs since the war started has been directly held up by Appleby's inactivity.
Fair point...and I can only speak from my view in the cabinet. However I can tell Appleby will have some work to win you around Adrastos... Although it's good to keep a CP on his toes as they should be answerable to their electorate so it's great you are sharing your views \o/.
Good report one more time Huey! v
Very good report, and I will gladly join you in welcoming MarkTD to the UK.
voted, as always.
At least you know what you Hey when you elect Appleby 😛
Get*
Appleby has been pretty damn inactive, but like Adastros said, there's a PTOer in second place...
I'm really grateful that you accepted without question, I'm glad to be back \o/ thanks for the kind words :3
You are welcome. Hope you are enjoying your time back in the UK so far o/
I believe Appleby is working very hard in the background to be fair on him... I did get a real sense of delegation from his CP campaign manifesto articles...so it's not too surprising he seems inactive to his electorate. I've certainly taken a view that the MoF needs to work hard and semi-independent at times.
However as I said to Adrastos... I hope Appleby can manage to win you around before the end of his term.
