Here are the questions I posed to those below:

1) Where are you from, IRL? Why do you fight for the eUSA?

2) What is your fondest memory of V1, V2, or another battle/memory?

3) How long have you been in your current MU? What other MU's have you enjoyed?

4) Cake or Pie?

Unsung Heroes of the eUSA have been chosen at random, and are in no particular order.

1. Poland. Well, basically I'm eUS citizen since 2011 - back then USA was anti-ONE country and was perfect place to stay considering economy and military. At that time most of our members applied and were granted citizenships, since it was the most rational choice. And now years have passed and I feel sorta attached to eUS. I was trying to avoild getting involved in politics and frankly staying here simply suits me.

2. Hard to tell. Obviously in v1 it should be swapping Poland to USA in order to rent high bonus resources - but when you take a look at the whole period of v1 it's the feeling that cooperation, strategy, uniting to achieve common goals and fact that even single players, no matter their level, strength had matter.

As for v2 it's hard to pick. There were few that matter, but in general it was more challenging, time consuming but in the beginning also fun to learn. Tho I guess whole version was too user-unfriendly or rather too complicated for browser game.

But still, maybe because it wasn't so pay-to-win, social interactions were visibly present I'm more fond of those ancient.

3. Since June 2009. With a few months long break when I stayed in USAF. There were some other MUs but only for the purpose of dictatorship/liberation wars.

4. Chocolate.

Slava

1 - does it matter?

2 - morons are stealing medals at last 5 min while real tanks load damage much earlier before the round completion. I am not stealing at last moment but ignore any complains if I gave 10-15 minutes for the ex-leader to load more damage than I am

3 - since my game registration

4 - pie

1. I live in the Maryland/DC area, USA. Since joining erep in 2009, I've only ever been a US citizen, it's the only thing I know and so it's just natural for me to fight for such a great eCountry.

2. Going back, I'll have to say V2? I still remember when I was member and then officer in USTC in my early days. Sitting in irc rooms waiting for the final seconds in battle when you'll get the ping from commanders to GO GO GO!!! Just the feeling of being part of a team and the ability for coordinated efforts to lead to victory. It was bliss!

3. I've been in EZC since my recent return and the demise of the USAF. So about 2 years or so.

4. This is a trick question! How about both?

Mists of Time

1) Where are you from, IRL? Why do you fight for the eUSA? Tolland, CT which is near Hartford. Never thought about getting citizenship in any other country.

2) What is your fondest memory of V1, V2, or another battle/memory? I guess the first time I got a BH medal.

3) How long have you been in your current MU? What other MU's have you enjoyed? I originally was in a MU that just went inactive so when the only other member left and joined the VMA I went along with them.

4) Cake or Pie? Cake since the pie is a lie...

Today, we are going to sit down and chat with your Director of Education, Chris Stanwick. He is responsible for writing articles in the Department of Education Newspaper.

1) When did you join erepublik? How did you find us? What/Who attrached you to the meta-game?

I joined eRepublik on May 5, 2009. I had always had an interest in politics, and searched for political games online. eRepublik was one of the top hits, so I checked it out. I was immediately engrossed by the community, and by the end of that first day had joined a political party, the UIP, and the old forums. Ultimately, it was the political discussions in Congress that pulled me into the meta-game rather than any particular player. I did meet a lot of good people, though, some of whom I've stayed in touch with and have considered friends for the last nine years.

2) How long have you been involved in the Executive? How long in the Department of Education?

I first became involved in the Executive branch in June 2009, my second month in the game. Between then and my departure from the game over the summer of 2011, I served in the Executive of the USA, Australia, Thailand, and Belgium the majority of the time. While I have handled education roles in other nations in prior years, I had not been involved in the Department of Education prior to this month. It's a great example of a player having some good ideas and getting involved. Anyone can step up.

3) Have you had a military career in erepublik? Have you always been in Easy Company (EZC)?

The military module has never been my favorite aspect of the game, so I've not had much of a military career. In the pre-MU period, I did serve as the General of the Thahan Phran (National Guard) of Thailand and chose the daily fighting orders, by media as daily orders also did not exist. When I returned, I initially joined the United States Armed Forces MU as I was unfamiliar with the MU system, but switched to EZC within days.

4) Why do you think it is important to keep the populace informed and continuously educated?

Although we don't get as many new citizens as we did in years past, we still do get some, plus we see old players return from the grave periodically, some of which, like myself, haven't played since the days of V1 or Rising. A lot has changed since then, and having articles and video tutorials helps us all catch up with those changes. While it might seem repetitious for the longtime citizens, running similar tutorial articles every month keeps the information fresh for the new and returning citizens who enter the game on an ongoing basis. Not everyone joins at the beginning of the month, we have to keep that information available so that they can find it.

5) What would you like your legacy to be in erepublik? Would you ever add one or two deputies, so that your vision can carry on?

I would certainly consider adding deputies and expanding our outreach if someone were interested. As for legacy, I really don't have anything in mind. I did back in the day, but now I'm in it primarily for the community. When eRepublik finally comes to an end, I want to leave with lasting friendships. There are some great people playing and I want to keep those friends outside the game.

6) Cake or pie?

Always pie. Preferably egg custard.

Thank you for your time today. I hope all the citizens of the eWorld benefit from your wisdom and instruction.

A HUGE thank you to all our allies in Pacifica for helping us out during this trying time, especially Poland and Latvia. Thank you to every single eUSA citizen for their patience and their resolve as we concentrate on removing our occupiers one at a time. And lastly, we would like to thank the occupiers for a fun months of real war. We appreciate bringing our citizens and our country together again.
