[WHPR] Day 4773: The Chicken and the Honey Bee

Day 4,773, 14:09 Published in USA USA by James S. Brady Press Room

Hello America, today's edition will reiterate the need to locate your companies correctly, we'll also have a FA/military news roundup.

Produce Safely in designated regions

Safe and Unsafe Regions?

Green colored regions on the map are "safe": California, Washington, DC, Alaska, Nebraska, Tennessee, Florida, W. Virginia, Virginia and Kentucky.

This means that the US will endeavor to always preserve them under its control. These regions also contain USA's food and weapons bonuses. All other regions colored in red are always likely to be used for training wars with partners. This means you will find yourself locked out from WAMing (working as manager) your companies for lengthy periods of time. There is also no gurantee that these regions will enjoy the 100/100 food/weapons bonuses we have. Producing in unsafe regions is a bad idea, pure and simple.

Ok, but moving companies is expensive...

Since the beginning of the resource war, relocation tokens have been available through the weekly challenge. These should allow you to move your companies to safe regions.

Remember, Kentucky (for weps) and Virginia (for food) are your best long term options for companies relocation...as they hold the majority of bonuses.

Tokens won't take care of the need to create new holding companies though. This is where the US government comes in. We have a program in place to subsidize the costs of creating new holding companies. Read more about it here. The program grants funding for up to 2 new holdings created in designated safe regions. Be advised, the program expires on the 18th...be fast about it. Here's the online form.

FA and Military update

Cuba: After relations with Cuba have soured during the resource war, US government has worked to normalize relations and the training war with Cuba is back online.

Slovenia: USA launched an airstrike against Slovenia a few days ago, this was done to drain CODE damage from other fronts. We didn't land, but US tanks and pilots fought ferociously , forcing CODE to divert vital and costly resources from other fronts to defend Slovenia. These type of campaigns are important for US prestige and strategic posture.

Training wars

This is the current general training wars outline. It is a work in progress, not all countries are occupying their designated regions yet, but this is a good illustration for what the government is aiming for. These TWs are essential to our security and prosperity, the ability to maintain so many relies on US players fighting according to orders.

So, as always...
