- Temujin94's Guide to Making it in Government

The Ministry of Home Affairs

The MoHA is there to provide information, help and guide citizens of the eUK, and to entertain them in an attempt to keep players playing, but also to further help recruit new players and generally be awesome. With a developed apprentice program, it’s a great place to start your work in politics. Anyone can apply and no previous experience is needed. Here you can write articles, update the wiki, help out new players and make suggestions on Educating and Entertaining players- discussion and ideas can be a big part of the role. Being a team player is also a crucial fact of life here, as you never know when or what will you need help with. Vast, vast amounts of Personal Messages (PMs) are sent each month, to alert you to new articles, games and general fun! 😃

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The MoFA maintains the relationships with all countries of Erepublik, and plays an important role in country’s safety. At the top level the Minister(s) job is to not only make contacts in countries within our pro-ONE leanings, but to actively make friends with, and thereby communicate well with a foreign Country President or their Cabinet Members, and to gain a basic picture of the current country status. Members of the MoFA have to be really good at communication, and those who speak another language go far!

Ministry of Defence

This is our standing army. If you are in the UK armed forces (see below to apply!), you're part of the MoD! 😃 The MoD supply those citizens who work in their companies for a low wage with more Q5 Weapons than you could shake a stick at! Remember, if you're not in the armed forces, but buy your own weapons off the market, you can't possibly hope to match the amount you would get if you were in the UK Armed Forces (UKAF)! This is because the UKAF is subsidised by the government (YAY TAXES!), so they can help players out more, and get UKers to make more damage with which to beat our enemies!

We asked Temujin94 to give us a guide to making it in government, since he's found himself at the top of the pecking order within eUK. If you think you've got what it takes, then follow the advice he has given:

Remember
In your entertainment for this month we are running with a Pokemon theme. To that end, in this UK Today and in following issues, there will be pokemon hidden here and there. For those who wish to take part and be in with a chance of winning a prize and becoming a pokemon master, we are running a little competition called "Gotta Catch 'em All!". When you find yourself a pokemon in an article, send a PM to Invalidation with the name of the pokemon you've seen and where you found it. A record will be kept and whoever catches the most by the end of the month will be named pokemon master, and prizes will be given out to the best pokemon trainers.
