Hello all!

Yesterday was the party presidential elections with a few partisan PTO threats in several parties. That wasn't the case in the UK Reform Party. Both myself and Appleby were the two main candidates in the election judging by the number of votes, of course.

Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who voted me yesterday. This is my fourth term as party president and the most recent (obviously) since August 2011 - a long time ago. Prior to this month, I just sat and ran the party in varying degrees of exposure - in public and in the background.

Congratulations to all other new PPs who were elected today. I look forward to potentially working with some of you in relation building, particularly the PCP.

As I outlined in my plans, I'm appointing people to the in-game party positions that are actually willing to work. Most often and not just in our own party, people are simply appointed to do nothing much at all. Here are the positions and who's taking them:

Vice Party President - Cygnus X1
Secretary General - Vacant (head recruiter)
Councillor - Vacant (election manager)
Spokesman - Vacant (media guy)

IRC and forums
Both IRC (to find out more about IRC, click here) and the forums are equally used methods of communicating with our active membership.

IRC
Our public IRC channel is #ukrp on the Rizon network. If you aren't a UKRP member and wish to join us, then feel free to join. If you are a UKRP member, ping any of us ops and we'll get your sorted with access to our private channel. To give you a comparison of our activity, around 15 to 20 people attend IRC at certain times!

For a simple link to our public IRC channel then click here, select your nickname and then speak to one of us in the channel. Someone is usually around most of the time.

Forums
We use the official eUK forums as means of communicating with each other outside of the game. In addition to this, many party activities are organised, planned and started there, so if you want to get further involved in the party then you can join us there.
