The Unity Community Project
A Brief Introduction:
The lifeblood of any country is its new players. To merely maintain the current population an influx of about fifty new players is required every week, and for those players to keep playing- or be retained, too.
The market is currently paying high wages which partly alleviate the problems new players face, but we want to go one step further- to help our new citizens flourish!
While thinking about how this could be accomplished, (and in the wake of everyone being given food and grain companies) it became clear that new players can have the best start possible (and be most likely to keep playing) with three things: Money, supplies (especially Weapons!), and perhaps most importantly Contact.
To that end, this is our mission statement:
Mission Statement:
To create and maintain an in-game community for new players, in which UCP provide high wages and a weekly bonus for being part of the scheme, with an aim of retaining new players and giving them the best possible start to their eLife.
How Can This Be Done?
To accomplish our three goals with new players, the idea of the Unity Community Project: UCP was born- a social scheme where we employ new players .
It’s a little more complicated than that though- involving money, bonuses and plenty of contact.
The scheme will be open to anyone in their first month in the game, and they can stay in the scheme until they’ve been around for two months. Initially, all they have to do is take a job from one of the UCP companies at market rate. Anyone (that qualifies) that takes one of these jobs will be PM’d by me offering them a place on the scheme- those that accept will gain the following benefits:
-Their wages will be increased to cost price
-Once per week they will be given a bonus package of food and weapons
-in their first week this package will be substantially bigger
-they will receive a weekly PM to check in and see if they need help
-they will get any help they need from me and TUP
This achieves all three goals for the players- they get money, bonuses including weapons, and contact / help from us.

Good plan, but how will newborn citizens know they have to take a job from one of the UCP companies? Articles (like this one) are not very easy to find :/ Are you PM-ing all new citizens?
I hope the newcomers will find this program.

Yep- everyone up to a month old, plus anyone that joins each day will get a PM with info about UCP and links to other places of help.
