[TUP] Conference call

Day 2,878, 05:23 Published in United Kingdom France by Hell The Great

Once again, this month I have been given the responsibility of running TUP Conference. The last time we did this it went pretty well with around 30 people getting involved, and discussing policy details. As a party, we then turned these discussions into policy, which we then used to guide our congressional candidates. You can see the policy we formulated last time here. Ultimately, whilst some of what we talked about has become common practice, there is still some things left unachieved. However, that was then, this is now.

Times have changed, the world has changed, and thus, its time to re-open the TUP Conference to formulate our policy for the near future. As with last time, we will be splitting into the follow groups;

- Domestics which will focus on how we as a country should interact with each other, and look at any changes we could make in relation to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

- Economics will look at the state of our resources, our tax income and look at finding a suitably balanced tax structure that generates satisfactory income for the Government, without taking too much from the normal player. It will also look at how this money should be stored.

- Foreign Affairs / Defence is just as easy to understand; it will focus on how our damage as a country is controlled and look at ways of improving this process, which countries or alliances we align ourselves with, and as always, discussing the 'position' our country has in the eWorld.

On the whole, the policy areas are going to be mostly similar to last time. And, as with last time, this process is open to ANY member of TUP. There are no limitations at all, any player can join any or all of the discussion groups. These groups will contain several experienced players who will be adding their insights, and also offering feedback on any other proposals, to ensure that our proposals reflect game mechanics, or game reality.

Domestics will be covered by Karacticus, MS10EL and Madelina de Melrose.

Finance will be covered by Addaway and Rathena.

Defence and Foreign Affairs will be covered by Addaway, Paul Tyndale and myself

One final reminder, to apply for any or all of the above committees, just drop me a PM. The only requirement is that you are a current TUP member.
