With America under occupation, the Shadow Government and the National Programs have no tax dollars to run on. Many of the government programs are being funded by Americans who truly believe in the motto: Country>Party>Self. I believe most Feds wish to thank those who are funding these essential war programs.

Today's Federalist News: Friday Day 3874 eRC

Nation News
eUS Forums: Public Congress

I am putting this up here (127th Shadow Congress) and I am begging every American to go read through that thread. Currently, a foreign citizen who -for whatever reason- chose to renounce his citizenship remains as the head of the American IES. Since it is now apparent that because of the negative consequences of former governments and their supporters -of which this advisor was a major foreign policy architect and supporter- America will remain conquered for the foreseeable future. Currently, I will remain publicly silent except to say that this is NOT the 127th Shadow Congress and the Congressional Librarian/s need to research and find out what number it is because it is more like the 5/6th one. I point this out because apparently wording is everything

Today's question:

Why did you become a Federalist?

Franklin Stone

Sometime back I fled both Easy Company Military Unit and the We The People party both although different in nature was for political reasons. When I joined the Socialist Freedom Party it was for several reasons. First, they were the sixth party with a dim future and a long history. Second, was because of their association with the Bear Cavalry. Third, Jude Connors was the Party President. Fourth, a citizen long associated with the power cabal who had been backstabbed was also a member.

There I languished doing little more than following BC orders and watching the circus unfold in front of me. Then the AFA made a play for a top five and were roundly attacked as a PTO party. One night in a haze of herbal smoke and out of boredom I jokingly asked if a long established party made a move for top 5 if they would also be attacked. Sadly, as it turns out if you haven't been totally asleep at the wheel that set the wheel of history in motion. One regrettable -although not the biggest- consequence of that question resulted in the AMP being the odd party out which I always hated.

Leaving the SFP was hard for me and for some days I wondered if I really wanted to leave or if I wanted to again fight it out. Sorry to those who have chosen to stay and defend the party they love but I just can't. Most of the blame falls on me for believing that a tiger could change his stripes. A huge portion also goes to those in power who apparently have supported the traitor for many years. Some of it even splashes over onto the current regime for making him CoS and legitimizing his comeback change.

Becoming a Fed was an easy choice. They have no Military Unit associated with them although in the past they supported one of the strongest in America so they understand military matters. They love America and put the good of our Homeland above all else and believe in open and transparent government by the people. Mostly because when I showed up they didn't laugh and say I told your dumb ass. Although some did smirk. They took me in from the wilderness, gave me a blanket, food to eat, tanks to fight with and a job.

But mostly because they are the proudest/horniest group of citizens in America.

Jude Connors

The Federalist Party is full of history. The party has been around since Version 1. They are one of the two remaining parties of the "Good ole days". I like a party with history.
Many of my friends have come from this party and I have always enjoyed good rapport with most Feds. It is a vibrant community that has always helped out new players.
The Feds are also the proudest/horniest group of people in the eUSA.
That is why I am a Fed.

Artela

I have at various times been in many parties, but right now the Fed Party ‘vibe’ is the best around IMHO.
I have friends in the Feds, and I prefer to play alongside friends. It gives a better sense of camaraderie and solidarity.
Currently, the Feds are also people who I trust to watch my back, and whose backs I feel comfortable watching too.
In short, Feds are now the ‘best fit’ party for me and I’m loving being back here.

Cthulhu

I am a Fed for several reasons.  Number one, first and foremost, The Federalist Party has always welcomed a sincere and ernest discussion of the issues at hand.  I don't always agree with everyone on everything, but I still feel like I am heard and listened to here.  That's kind of rare, to actually disagree and still be able to talk about stuff.

Secondly, and I cannot overstate this, I see a strong sense of loyalty to each other in the Federalist Party.  Back in the day, I joined the USWP after leaving SEES with the stated goal of becoming PotUS.  I was able to achieve this goal with their help, and enjoyed many years with the USWP.  After a few disagreements, leaving for a bit, and coming back; I re-joined the USWP and was met with mockery and insults.  I was not invited back to the Executive Board, nor was I treated like I had ever had any value while in the party.  This was mainly due to personal differences with two individuals.  I think that their attitudes and behavior are directly responsible for us being in the current predicament that we are in, and am happy that one of them is (from all appearances) gone for good.  One down and one to go, I say.  I wrote media for the party when I returned and put forth a moderate effort, but was still not invited to the EB.  You don't want me, fine...fuck you.

I was a member of AMP for a bit, and have nothing bad to say about the members there.  I am elated that they may be re-joining the top 5, hopefully for good.  But when I re-joined the Feds, i was welcomed with open arms and even fulfilled one previously unmet goal of becoming PP.  I cannot say that my term had a huge impact, but I am sincerely thankful that the members of the party gave me the opportunity to sit on the chair for one month.  BigD and I have run against each other two times, I've lost, and still been included in the party.  My opinion has even been valued and that means a lot to me.  This feels like a home.

Proud and Horny as a M***er-F**ker.

Country>Party>Self

Those actually mean something.  What do the other parties actually stand for?  By no means am I insulting anyone by asking this question, but I do know what the Feds stand for and that's enough to keep my loyalty.

I was a member of the Feds a long time ago, not long after they became a Top 5. I was not hugely active or influential, but I remember feeling included. I joined because it was a great group of people. They were welcoming and active in contributing to the eUS. It seemed like you could drop into their IRC and there was always something going on.

I was not that into the political module back in the day so I think I switched parties frequently to serve as a blocker in the old 50 states, 50 individual races ATO efforts. As I drifted in and out of activity with the game, I ended up in other places. Earlier this year, when I was in need of a new political party home, I came back to the Feds. It was as I remembered, a great group of welcoming people who are active and engaged.

I am happy to be here and Proud & Horny about being a Fed.

Editor's Opinion

Currently, the Shadow Government is very been busy. The Feds extend a warm welcome back to the Top 5 to the American Military Party and would suggest them to those who long for the sting of battle. Now I firmly believe that every loyal American should never allow political disagreement to stop you from following your Military Unit's Daily Orders. Everyone no matter how little damage you inflict should be doing their part on the battlefield.  All the Top 5 Political Parties need to focus on drawing new citizens to eRepublik and getting them Q4 upgrades of at least the Q1 and Q2 Training Centers. Personally, I am about to advance to Divison 3 and I will once again become a popgun tank and will soon return to spending gold on training.
