Hi, I'm Tony Clifford, currently Party President of All TOgethers and Minister of Defense.
And I'm running to be the next Country President of eBelgium.

Foreign Affairs
In the Foreign Affairs, my government will continue to support CoT membership for eBelgium.

After serving one month as Minister of Defence, i noticed that, despite being the third alliance in strength, CoT is the only alliance that considers at the same level the priorities of smaller countries (having a Congress) to that of bigger countries(get resources). Belgium will continue to help its allies and try to mediate if any dispute arises among them.

We'll try to continue to have good relationship with the United Kingdom, which has always helped us when in need. I hope that relationships with other TWO countries will continue to be good.

Good relationships with the other neighbors (France, Netherlands, Germany) will be possible only if they renounce to their pro-EDEN policy.

Miltary
I have been Minister of Defense in the last month, I can say that currently our military is weak. We are not able to overcome any of our neighbors in a real war, not even the Netherlands!

We should strenghten our State Military, and establish communication with private Military Units that are willing to cooperate with the Government.
To strenghten the military, we need to get soldiers more involved in the Belgian military policy.

As Minister of Defense I established an Alert System for State Commanders and Captains, which will continue to work to get Belgian damage where it is needed.

To get young soldiers more involved, I'll support the initiatives of the Belgian Training Academy to get more fun there, such as to give a prize to the most hitter soldier of the day (I did this when I was Captain there).
I want to give an uniform for BTA soldiers who request it (some of them already have it!!) and, if possible, increase the supplies to BTA members (which are in-game, whereas citizen packs are in-forum).

Given the current international situation, a Training War with neighboring countries is difficult to obtain.

Finances
Our financial situation is neither bad nor good. Expenses and revenues are going to balance. But I'm not worried because we have enough reserves.
My government will continue the efforts to have a balanced budget, and also to play in the Monetary Market, as it was shown that Belgium made some profit there.
If the finances will go better (but that will more on erepublik admins' will than any government's one), the additional resources will go preferentially to the BTA's active soldiers

Home Affairs
I want to make the Home Affairs the fulcrum of the entire government.
The government will set up a poll to know who the eBelgian citizens are and what they want.
But another responsability will be to make the other Minsters liable of their work, urging the Ministers to publish in-game articles to explain their work and how their Ministry is going on. This work will be done in collaboration with the Chairman of Congress, which will give information about Congress activities.

Education
My government will publish new updated articles for new players, paying attention to translate the most important ones into Dutch and French languages.
Basic educational articles will be published regularly, so that every new player will know immediately want to do.

Immigration
As an immigrant my self (from eSwitzerland), immigration policy is important to me. From foreign countries may come both threatening people, who want to destroy the Belgian Community, but also valuable players.
That's why I think it is necessary to continue to screen citizenship applicants
 by trustworthy citizens to prevent the entry of menaces to the Belgian community.
I took two weeks myself to enter eBelgium, but it was worth it!______________________________________________________________________________________________________________

National Security
My government will continue the effort against any threat to Belgian security, in particular against multis. Several months ago my party was excluded in the election because another party got more members, but two days after the election 6 members of the latter party were banned for multies.
Multi-making is not fair nor funny. Every fair player should be against multies, and every fair government should fight them.
Last month we had a confusion of roles between Immigration and National Security: an immigrant most of the times is not a threat. The National Security should give advice to the Immigration, and the Immigration must listen to. But the Immigration should decide by its own.
