[SYNERGY] Congressional Elections Analysis - October

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands

Author's Note: Today is the 26th of October; a notable day in the eRepublik calendar for a simple reason: we have elected new congressmen on this day.

The purpose of this article is to provide you with as much information as I can about the elections we’ve just finished. I want to clarify that this article does not attempt to provide preference to any political party nor harming anyone, it's just a personal analysis based on official data and results obtained. I hope you like and to some extent useful to all of you




OVERVIEW

The total number of votes in this congressional election was 83. There was a slight increase in the total number of votes in this congressional elections versus the last.

October: 83 total votes / September: 76 total votes (+7 total votes)

eNetherlands had a total of 40 seats available this month, while total seats gained were 33. This means it has a 82.5% congressmen, having vacated 17.5% to which is equivalent to 7 available seats that they were not used.



Considering the total eNL Burgers (264) and the number of all the votes cast, the result in active participation was of 31.43%

For this month the Geuzen Partij Nederland (GPN) have been replaced in the top 5 parties by United Netherlands Party (UNP) and gained seats this term. With a similarity in the number of party members but with a remarkable fact is the acceptance and the joining of "new citizens" so it can generate some suspicion by some people.



OFFICIAL RESULTS

Leading is ReL with 30 votes received, and gaining 14 seats (36.14😵 with 39 party members.
Followed by DemNL 22 votes received, and obtaining 9 seats (26.5😵 with 24 party members.
While I&W with 13 votes achieved 3 seats (15.66😵 with 19 party members.
VN with 10 votes received obtained 3 seats (12.04😵 with 11 party members.
Ending with UNP who reached with 8 votes; 4 seats (9.63😵 with 13 party members.

PARTICIPATION

In this graph is compared the number of members and votes obtained by each party, and valuing participation (effectiveness) expressed in percentages




DemNL did the best in this metric again, gaining votes equal to 91.66% of their party population.
The UNL fared the worst, gaining votes equal to 61.53% of their party population.
Important to note that VN in this metric obtained a 90.90% of their party population but with a much smaller amount of party members if compared with DemNL.
