My fellow Americans,

I would like to announce my intention to run for POTUS. I'm sure this will trigger the haters since I am a newer player but I think I have what it takes to do a decent job and not mess this up. If someone better comes along I will gladly step aside but for now my hat is in the ring because I would like a shot at improving our situation. Let me lay out my platform for you:


1. DIPLOMACY

Diplomacy will be the backbone of my administration. The 1st thing I do will be to appoint a MOFA who will be extremely active and someone I can trust. I will have them reboot the ambassador program and open it up and recruit any active members that want to take a role in our government. The MOFA and I will be the acting ambassadors to any nations that occupy American lands. We will work as a special task force to do our best to sort out any differences between us and our occupiers. We will be in constant communication with them and report back to the people directly. We will do our absolute best to hold a congress every month I am in office. This will be a top priority!


2. POLICY

Your probably wondering by now how the diplomacy will work since our nation has such a bad rep in the erepublik world...well my answer is atonement. This may come in the form of some kind of deal that may take time, money, gold, or all of the above. What I will tell you is if I am elected POTUS I will make it clear to our occupiers that the eUSA will be pressing the reset button and seeking to right our wrongs. Newer players are tired of dealing with the sins of some of our older players and we will reassure our occupiers and all nations that change has arrived.


3. DEFENSE

The third leg of my policy will be National Defense. I don't have too many criticisms for our current defense policy as it is a tricky issue. One thing I will will push congress to approve is a National Military made up of at the least 2 MU's. I would like to appoint a MOD that is an active planner and will work closely in my cabinet to navigate our nation's defense with the MOFA and myself making sure we are not making mistakes with our military might and giving diplomacy a chance.


This is the basis of my platform and I hope you will give it a chance. I know I am a newer player but I think that I can get results you the people will like and try to restore America to the glory it deserves. I appreciate your consideration.
