Greetings once again lovely people. As you all know by now, there have been ongoing discussions with Asteria and Canada with regards to our current state of occupation. This article is not to discuss the events that led to said occupation, that is a matter for the eHistorians to sort with regards to perceived rightness or wrongness. The discussions in question this Executive have entered into have led to a proposal to Congress, which has been ratified by a large majority. We would like to thank our Congress with the expediency with which they have debated and voted on the measures.




We realize that there was some pushback, but our only ask is that final analysis be reserved for another six months, when we will become a free agent once again. We appreciate everyone who voiced their opinions, and no matter where you stand on the issues, your concerns are valid and notable. We also thank the Executives from Canada, Serbia and Iran, as well as the representatives from Asteria whom we have communicated with on various channels for graciously agreeing to meet with us and formulate a plan for the future. The negotiations were intense but not unpleasant and even included some poetry.





These are the terms of the agreement which will run for the next 6 months:



All of our Training Wars must be approved by ASTERIA

With the exception of South Korea, we will have no Training Wars with CODE

We will have no Training Wars with ANDES

We may have Training Wars with PACIFICA

We are required to enter into Training Wars with Serbia, Iran, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Romania

We are permitted to have 8 regional Training Wars and 5 "Ping-Pong" Training Wars

We are required to enter into a minimum 9 month Non Aggression Pact with Canada

We are required to designate a list of safe states of our choosing which will not have Training Wars

Our maximum taxation return will be capped at $500000 per month, per Training War

We will not be required to fight against CODE

We will not be required to fight against ANDES

At the expiration of the 6 month term, we will be designated as Neutral by ASTERIA

We are not required to leave CODE

We are not required to join ASTERIA





There are some additional notes about the negotiations that we would like to pass your way:


Originally, the term of agreement was to be 12 months. We were successful in reducing this to the present 6 month period.


There are also a couple of nations with a 25% work taxation rate that are attempting to set up Training wars here. We are looking into sorting that situation out, as the agreement on that was ambiguous. All of the other nations mentioned above that are entering into a Training War with us have a 1% work taxation rate.


Canada was required to sign off on the deal before Asteria did. Canada did not require a formally written Non Aggression Pact.





We humbly ask you, America to give the agreement a chance. The alternative to this would have been quite stark: no Congress, no economy and an indefinite occupation by empire class nations. Given the current status quo, a military solution would not have been possible. We are not here to throw our alliance under the proverbial bus. Recently, Plato made an announcement regarding the status of the token marketplace, and we will let that announcement speak for itself. We have to accept the situation for what it is and attempt to make some good out of it. In the end, we will prevail. Thank you all for being engaged in this process.
