Election Results

Howdy everyone,

As you all know the Party Presidential election was yesterday night and as a result of it Dillon Richards has come out of it victorious with 51% of the vote. In this article, I will recap the election results, his platform ideas, and some of the people that will make this term possible. I will also be discussing some of the plans in the works for this term. As we have seen previously Dillon Has outlined his Economic, Domestic, and International policy for the term, here's what it looks like if you haven't seen it.

Economic Policy

I am sure, as a continuation of last terms economic policy Dillon will be including the IWU as well as our various supplies oriented programs such as Daily Rations and Mentorships. However, it would seem Dillon has a somewhat new-ish idea that he wants to bring to the table.
As we can see here:

"I can't take credit for this idea. I saw it in a thread somewhere - either on the forum or one of the in-game PM groups. For the life of me I can't find it, but if I do (or someone knows), I'll give full credit to the person who first brought it up here.

The idea is, that SFP members who want to can join the Company Collective and contribute a set amount of USD per week to the Collective. As the pot builds up, the contributing members will take turns upgrading their companies from the collected funds. This idea is going to take some fleshing out. For instance, "How much should be contributed per week?" "How do we decide who gets the upgrade?" "What happens if someone misses a week?" But that's the benefit of having great thinkers in the Party - we don't have to work anything out alone."

(Excerpt from Dillon Richards article, 'Pick The Pickle')

I happen to love this idea. I think that this would be a great way for party colleagues to get on a path of self-sustainability in the long run and could, in turn, positively affect the party.

Domestic Policy

Lately, Dillon has been requesting that he and I Re-revamp the Mentorship program. Initially, this program did not take off like expected and has since died down due to a lack of structure in the program. I personally will be taking full responsibility of last terms crashed and burned program and will be working to restore it to its former glory. With several plans in the works, we intend to make the Mentorship Program a hub for New Players. On top of the newly revised program we will be running the usual programs like always such as Daily Rations and our Housing Project. A full list will be provided at the end of this article. Heres what Dillon had to say:

"We have a number of excellent programs and pretty much all of them are used. I'm sure you've all seen shouts about the Q1 housing program run by Niemand or the Training Ground upgrade program or daily rations program, both run by Jimmy. One program that hasn't taken off like I'd like for it to is the Mentorship Program.

eRepublik can be pretty confusing for newcomers. How much sense does it make that racking up levels as fast as you can is actually a terrible way to advance your account? Basically the opposite of Pokemon. This is why I think the Mentorship Program is so important. I'd like to aggressively advertise these mentorships to newer members. We have a wealth of generous and knowledgeable members, let's be sure we make good use of it!"

(Excerpt from Dillon Richards article, 'Pick The Pickle')

I will let you all know what the plans are to revamp the program at a later date and, most likely,  in my next article.

International Policy

I have served on the eInternational Congress for months now and I must say we are growing every week, and it is certainly an honor to have had a hand in that. Settling into position are a number of left-wing Parties from across eRepublik. They include: SFP (eUSA), ERA (eArgentina), PCV (eVenezuela), PCU (eUruguay),  PRC (eColombia),  PCE (eItaly), PUP (eUK), PCE (eSpain). If I left anyone out I apologize, but we have recently laid down the foundation for the eInternationale. Here's Dillons take on the matter.

"I want to be sure we keep our commitment to our international allies by continuing to engage with the eInternationale and that we continue to support its growth. This organization is a great tool to build lasting relationships with like-minded people from around the eworld and keep up on global events. Leon Gutierrez has led the eInternationale well during its re-founding and I think there's a very strong base for us to build on. If you're interested in meeting comrades from around the eglobe, let me know and I'll get you involved with the eInternationale!"
(Excerpt from Dillon Richards article, 'Pick The Pickle')

It is absolutely crucial that Dillon pays attention to this aspect of our party and to the eWorld. With our attendance of the eInternationale, the party will be able to make international connections and have another route of gameplay for party colleagues.
