[SC] A new alliance? Yeah, right!

Day 1,689, 23:27 Published in China China by mihail.cazacu

The "secret" negotiations initiated by Poland and Spain with the aim of fooling the USA and Brazil into a "new alliance" are now public knowledge thanks to the articles of the American president, Canadian president, Obersoldat and Chucky Norris.

The main hurdle for the Poles is how to get the USA and Brazil to swallow an alliance with Hungary and Serbia.

Well, so far that was quite easily, really: all it took was not to mention what would happen with Serbia and Hungary once this "Next Alliance Project" would come to life.

So what will happen to them?

Nothing! Poland and Spain will keep having the full set of ONE MPPs, so practically ONE will continue to exist. The only change would be for the Americans and the Brazilians, who will pour their influence into the Spanish and Polish battles.

The American and Brazilian influence given to Spain and Poland would mean Spain and Poland would be able to transfer the same amount of influence to Serbia and Hungary without risking anything. So practically the Americans and Brazilians will fight for Serbia and Hungary without seeing those unsavory two in their own set of MPPs.

So far none of the American or Brazilian negotiators thought of demanding that Poland and Spain drop their MPPs with Serbia and Hungary as a mandatory condition for the "Next Alliance Project".

They swallowed the line

"N.A.P also seeks to reduce the game’s current focus on Balkan-centric conflicts. N.A.P. plans to accomplish this by avoiding the distraction of perpetual wars between intractable rivals, and instead focusing on long-term, highly-strategic campaigns."

without asking even for one secon😛

how would Poland and Spain avoid the distraction of fighting Balkan-centric conflicts when both of them will continue to be allied with Serbia and Hungary?

What could the future bring?

Right now the public opinion in both Brazil and the USA started to see the implications of the ploy.

It might be that the American and Brazilian negotiators will now demand that Poland and Spain drop their MPPs with Serbia and Hungary for as long as they want to be allied with the USA and Brazil.

I expect Poland and Spain to reject the demand for two simple reasons:

1) The ploy was to strengthen ONE by bringing in the USA and Brazil via a circuitous route;

2) Would Poland and Spain ever be that foolish to actually drop their MPPs with Serbia and Hungary, they would simply push the Serbs and the Hungarians into the other camp.

There is no real reason why the Serbs cannot cut a deal with the Croats about how both countries can have fun together by paying visits to Poland and Spain. Likewise, there is no reason why Hungary and Romania would not agree to stop their ping-pong and look for fun elsewhere.

Hungary and Croatia might decide to deal with Spain while Serbia and Romania, using their bases in Central Europe, might want to go north and gang-bang Poland.

The two reasons mentioned above are enough for Spain and Poland to refuse any American and Brazilian demand that they drop their Serbian and Hungarian MPPs as a mandatory condition for forming a "New Alliance".

The only question which needs to be answered is this:

Would the Americans and the Brazilians still go on with befriending Spain and Poland once it becomes clear they will actually end up in the same alliance with the countries they loathe most, Serbia and Hungary?

We'll have a very interesting month ahead of us.
