[Sam4PP] Giving back & Growing Strong

I'd first just like to start this article with a long overdue thank you. The support I received during my campaign for CP was overwhelming and really touched me (not in that way you dirty b******😉. Anyway, all the love really meant a lot and made me feel not too bad about losing out. I am still happy that I'm able to carry on as MoD and I am really enjoying the role.

So thank you and onto the main part of the article...

Anyway, with elections for Party Presidents quickly approaching I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring and run for New Era. Personally I want to give something back to the party which supported me so well during my CP campaign, and what better way to do that than running for PP and helping the party really dominate eUK politics as a No.1 party should. So, here's a couple ideas I'd bring to the job with you were to vote me on the 15th of July.



Congress

Oh New Era Congress. We've had a bit of bad press and some bad times in the last month and let's be honest, New Eras congress has been inactive, out of touch and laughable. This is no ones fault apart from those standing in congress. However this doesn't take much to change. If I was elected as PP of this great party, I would immediately start with running applications for the role of New Era Congressman. This would mean any potential congressman/woman would have to first submit to run on the party page and then fill a form stating their intentions to me and my team(which would be released in an update article & found on the News Feed). This would allow the party to know what we had an active congress teamand allows us inform them, before being voted in, on rules and regulationsand what the party expects from them.



The Shadow Cabinet

This worked well for the one term it seemed to be run. We were able to produce some well thought out and well received points which the current government took on-board. I personally like the idea of continued improvement and that is exactly what the eUK needs for it too grow stronger. If elected as PP I will open up applications for the roles and seek to set up a Shadow Cabinet full of young, active and enthusiastic New Era members which otherwise wouldn't get a chance in the current government as things stand. This can help train them up and show those outside of the party how good these guys and gals are and allow them to prove themselves. This sort of program is not offered by any other party and will allow the party to have more input in the government now and in the future as the No.1 Party in the eUK should.



Media

The last point I want to talk about in this article is the media. This entails quite a lot in my view. From relations inside the party, to relations with other parties and of course the articles in the eUK media and how we are portrayed. I'm not afraid to admit, New Era's image isn't great. However this isn't always our fault, yes we've made mistakes, in congress and in debates. These have been latched upon by our rivals and twisted, often we fight back and that only makes things worse. However if you elect me I'll strive to open up relationships we other parties to make sure we are not isolated and make sure that no one bullies us out of a say in matters we care & fight about. When running for my CP campaign the main rely I received was 'I like your ideas but you won't get my vote because you are in New Era'. This shouldn't happen. The CP elections are about the person not the parties that support them. I will made it my aim to tackle these issues so any future New Era candidate has a level playing field and is an equal to any opposition candidate, allowing for a fair and professional election. This can be done by 3 main ways:

1) Entering talks with other parties like: ESO, UKPP and even TUP.
2) Positive media campaigns, show people the real New Era. The Shadow Cabinet will really help us show our potential as well.
3) Play nice, if someone trolls us, don't drop too there level. Being the better man/woman will show people that we are true too our message and want to help the eUK as many people fail to grasp.



Well that is it for this manifesto, I will of course be aiming to complete others things if elected including creating a dedicated recruitment team so that we know the job is being done and so we had keep bringing in the next top eUK players. I will also be working on our retention programs and keeping players in the party so that we build up a strong core of great players. Of course you can't force people to stay but why give them a reason to leave? So hopefully you have liked and enjoyed what you have seen here and I look forward to your support on the 15th.
